I go on trips often and I leave my dog here whenever I do. The smell of urine is strong in the building but the positives make up for the negative. They were always accommodating of my schedule. I used different dog day care and dog sitting services but by far they were the best because they are very flexible in terms of time and schedule. I go on random trips on random days and they never had a issue with taking care of my dog!

I love Dog Days of Birmingham! They treat my pup like he’s one of their own, and I have complete trust in the environment that they create to make sure all the dogs are safe and have great experiences.

I've been bringing my pup to Dog Days of Birmingham for over 4 years now and we absolutely love it here. The owners and staff are amazing, they're always planning fun events for the dogs, and I always know that my dog is in perfect hands when they take care of her. There is nowhere else I'd recommend more. You won't be disappointed.

Congenial staff and affordable grooming for my dog. Enjoyed the urban vibe and it's so great that they keep my dog for a free day of play on his grooming days !

My dog LOVES Dog Days! We had a very bad experience with another boarding facility, so I was very nervous to let him stay anywhere. Fortunately, we found Dog Days! I swear, I think he likes daycare/boarding more than he likes being at home!!

I can’t say enough good things about Dog Days. I‘ve been taking my dog, Nemo, here for daycare and boarding since 2020 and I am overwhelmed by the love and compassion he has received from the team. Nemo started to develop anxiety after an extended round of steroids as part of his heartworm treatment and that anxiety has had a resurgence recently. The Dog Days team goes out of their way to help him feel comfortable and greets me with his success stories every time I pick him up. Everyone who works here truly loves dogs and does everything they can to keep our fur babies safe and healthy. Thank you!

I’ve been bringing my pup, honey, here for daycare, boarding, and grooming, for almost 2 years now and don’t have a single complaint. The staff are always so kind and truly care about the dogs! They go above and beyond with taking photos throughout the day, celebrating birthdays, and so much more. Honey comes home after a long day of playing and sleeps the rest of the evening. Will always be recommending Dog Days!

Will not board my dog there again. We normally board our dog elsewhere but they were full so this is the only other place we could get in thats seemed to have good reviews. First off the place reeks of urine, but I didn’t hold that against them initially bc when I took her in for the temperament test it seemed like the owners were really kind and trying their best buttttt after picking my dog up she looked as if she had been scratched/bitten above her right eye. My husband asked them about it but they of course denied anything and tried to say my dog “plays rough” (1st time we’ve ever heard that and we’ve taken her to daycare/boarded her multiple times elsewhere). Her eyes were all puffy as if she had an allergic reaction to something as well but still they said nothing (I listed on her online profile her allergy to chicken products but not sure if they gave her any), she also had a bath yet still stunk. The final straw was they gave us the bag of food we dropped off for her and it was still half full which means she was only being fed 1/2 of what she was supposed to get (instructions were also written on the bag). Our Frenchie is our baby and we felt instant regret for boarding her there.

Have been at Dog Days for the past 2 years and have always been impressed with how they care for both of my dogs. They know all of the dogs under their care very well and they have my full trust.

My dog practically drags me into Dog Days whenever I drop him off, which I think is really all you need to know! Seriously though, the owners are great and you can tell they really care about each pup. I recommend them to anyone who asks me where we take Bentley for daycare/boarding. We've been going there for 3 years and he still loves it.

Dog Days has been fantastic. We leave our pup there every now and then and she always comes home tired and happy. She can't wait to get inside everytime we arrive at their location and greets the staff happier than ever! We happened to bump into one of the employees at a park not too long ago. She stopped to say hello and pet our pup and it was so good to see they truly care for our animals!
