First of all if you are thinking about staying here don’t! It is absolutely disgusting. The location is not bad. The pictures used to show this hotel is 100% not this hotel and very misleading. The lobby is in great shape, but when you get past that be prepared. The carpets are disgusting and stained and it smells like cigarettes and mildew. We get to our room and my skin was already crawling. The window curtain was stained and cigarette burn holes in it. The closet door was way to big and wouldn’t close. The room also smelled like stale smoke. The room next to us which was family we got two rooms had mold on the walls and I noticed light fixtures rusted from moisture. I went down to complain for the owner or manager to come look and tell me this curtain was normal wear and tear and the mold wasn’t mold. They wouldn’t refund either of our rooms because we traveled 10 hours from ohio to this hotel with a 2 &5 year old and we changed her diaper on the bed when we got to the room and threw the diaper in the trash can. I offered to go change the bag so we could get our money back. They said no. After the diaper change is when we started checking out the room and noticed paint is peeling everywhere, carpet is stained, ants all over and this stained curtain i added a picture of. We left and stayed elsewhere, but please do not go here especially with kids. Its very unhealthy and truly a sick environment. The staff was very very rude and says its normal. Im still itching many many hours later!!! It truly needs to be shut down. I am one to never complain ever and this I can’t stand the thought of someone else with children putting themselves in the position we did!! Go elsewhere!!!

I stayed here all 4 years for furnace fest. I recommended it to several friends. Good prices, great employees, great service, easy drive to Sloss Furnace.

The pm lady at the desk when I arrived was very nice, to everyone who entered the establishment, but when I checked out the lady at the front desk was real rude, when she returned my deposit instead of placing the funds in my
extended hand , she disrespectfully placed it on the counter.

They have the most disrespectful front desk agents I have EVER encountered at a hotel. Front desk agent called me about 12 times from hotel phone and her cell phone while I was at an event about payment when I told her I would be using a different card but I was definitely coming and asked her not to cancel my room but she was so persistent and I called someone to go and pay but they caught a flat while going there to check me in and pay. The agent kept calling and I kept telling her someone was on the way. She stated that the payment needed to be paid by 10 pm and I made the reservation around 8pm. Got to the hotel and couldn’t check in and I had 2 kids with me and I was informed that my room was cancelled and there was no vacancies. Talking to the night agent (different one) and she was so rude and disrespectful. I work at a hotel and wouldn’t have NEVER done this to a guest. If I could give ZERO stars I would

Decent hotel overall. Had a poor check-in experience. Front desk employee could not find my reservation or match me with my roommate that was already checked into the hotel. I was already checked into a room when they finally found my original reservation with my roommate (we were working together) and made me change rooms, even after I had already unpacked and set up in my first room. After moving into the second and final room, the Wi-Fi was very poor and spotty at times. The tub in the bathroom was very slippery as well. However, the breakfast was always pretty nice, so that was helpful after working all night and coming back to the hotel for that. If the Wi-Fi could be improved for other areas of the hotel, then this place could be a lot better overall.

Hotel could use some updates, even a freshen up with some paint (it was peeling in several places). Breakfast was okay, coffee was good. It wasn't terrible for the price, but it didn't feel the cleanest and had some quirks: shower rod was installed at a slope somehow, so the curtain didn't stay closed. But, there was good water pressure for the shower! The bathroom mirror had paint peeling all over and the door handle was very loose. It just needs a few updates. The front desk agent was wonderful, very polite and helpful!!

BEWARE...I was traveling with my three small grandchildren. I tried to book while driving and booked to the wrong hotel. (I had already passed this location by 65 miles) I used 20,000 accrued points. I called to say I was already past this location and asked if they would credit my points back. They refused. I called choice hotels privileges phone number that I received from the choice hotel I stayed at after my error and the privileges point person put me on hold and called this hotel and said she strongly recommended to return the points but it was ultimately up to the location and they flat out refused I travel at least twice a month and will never stay at this location. Very disappointed.

Not worth $145. My room smelled like pee, there were ants on bathroom wall and ceiling, some hair in tub and on my bed, holes in top comforter and stains on bedding. A lot of the buildings around there seemed abandoned and there wasn’t really anywhere to eat close by except fast food. The pool also doesn’t open until noon which means you can’t use it in the morning before checkout if you’re staying one night.

Stay anywhere else if you can! I travel a lot, have rented 100s of hotel rooms, and this was by far the worst. Horrible service, dirty room, people on floor above me were so loud I only got 2 hours of sleep. I tried to transfer rooms and the front agent was beyond rude and wouldn’t.

The hotel is old. My room smelled of moisture, the carpet was damp, light fixtures rusted. I was woken up in the morning by staff yelling in the hallways. To top it off i checked out 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received my 100.00 deposit back. Everytime I call the property I'm told that someone will call me back and no one ever does. I will never stay here again..

It was nice enough and clean. Decent price. Friendly counter staff.
Food and drinks: Very close to restaurants. Crab Barkke ? was to die for. It was just across the street. After flying all day it was nice not to have to go very far to get something to eat.

An older hotel but it was clean and comfy! The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was good and it was quiet. And they had strong WiFi also.

Had a big problem with bed bugs. The rest of the amenities were fine, but this ruined the stay for us. My daughter had bites over any place where there was exposed skin. Won't be going back there again!
