We had just left a Bands of America contest and we were exhausted. We had rooms reserved. The staff were great, the rooms were really nice and the breakfast was equally good. The only issue was parking. This would not be a problem for regular customers with regular vehicles. This was completely on us. The parking lot is on the smaller side and we had big trucks with big trailers. So we had a hard time getting them in, getting them parked, and worse getting them out. So I only mention this as a caution to others that may be in the same situation. Leaving these vehicles parked somewhere else is not an option due to their contents.
But I would definitely stay here again if we were in smaller vehicles with no trailers. Now if we only had one or two we may still go here. We had seven total vehicles all with trailers. Again, not their fault. Thanks to the staff. Appreciate what you do.
Rooms: Rooms were nice, clean, and the A/C worked great.
Safety: The area feels safe and you don't feel like you have to be overly concerned. The condition of the hotel makes you feel relaxed as well.
Food and drinks: We had the breakfast and it was really good. They do a really good job with it.
I just wish the room was a little bigger and had a more open feel. It did get crowded and that made it loud. Hard to have a conversation. Which is apart of most peoples breakfast time in a hotel. I would assume it not that way everyday.
Noteworthy details: Parking is tight if your traveling with a group that has trucks with big trailers. We had seven big box trucks each with big enclosed trailers. That's just a word of caution. Not really on them.

Not the best area to stay in first off. I didn’t know that and my wife booked it. I figured what could one night hurt? Well someone maliciously damaged my two month old truck overnight. Hotel employee confirms incident is on security camera. Call police. They aren’t allowed to see footage because manager isn’t present. I’ve spent over two months trying to get someone from the police department to get with the manager but they never call back. No one from the hotel cares and the police certainly don’t care. I’ll never be back to this place ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Safety: Stay away!!!!!!!!!!

Great location only 5 minutes from downtown Birmingham. Clean big rooms at a very reasonable price compared to Bham.

The bathroom leaked hot water all night. It saturated the walls and floor in the bathroom. The trash cans had no liners in them. The hotel clerk said that it's their standard practice to wash out the can instead of putting liners in them. Not what I expected out of Comfort inn.
Rooms: On this visit the room grade failed miserably.

We only stayed one night. Pretty good hotel! The room was clean. There was a strong smell in the room and in the hotel itself. The smell in the room smelled like an old house. The food ran out at breakfast pretty fast so we had to go somewhere else to eat. Service was okay. I would stay again if I had too because it was super convenient and good for the price.

Booked a room here for a surgery I had down the road in the morning. Was woken up at 10:30 PM TO SOMEBODY OPENING OUR DOOR. It was the front desk attendant. Attendant claimed that our phone kept calling the front desk because the emergency button was being pressed so he came to check on us. I looked at the phone and there was NO emergency button and we were asleep so I don’t understand how we possibly could’ve done anything with the phone. Thankfully, we had the door latched so he wasn’t able to open the door all the way. I really wonder what he would’ve done if the door did open all the way. Waking up to a stranger “checking on you” is NOT OKAY. If the attendant was worried about our safety, he should’ve called the police. We were in shock for about 15 minutes. When my husband went downstairs to get a better understanding of what happened, the attendant had clocked out and left WITHOUT telling the new attendant about the accident. All in all, I will never stay in a comfort inn ever again. We didn’t get any sleep after the incident. Got up this morning and asked the new attendant when to call to speak to a manager and she gave me a time. When we called, there was no manager on the clock like she said there would be. Was put on hold and when the person came back to the phone he stated “he talked to the manager” even though we were told there wasn’t one there. Make your safety a priority and do NOT book at this hotel.

Great CLEAN rooms , quiet , ac blows cold , shower clean up to date and good temp with water pressure , beds clean comfy pillows , everything works in rooms esp outlets , nice size tv with good cable and strong WiFi,, perfect location close to restaurants and corner stores by the highway . Came here after the country inn by radisson down the street had bed bugs in it , this hotel was awesome for our business trip will absolutely be staying here from now on .Great bang for your buck too.

It's an ok budget hotel. We found everything to be generally clean, just a little dated. As others mention, the smell of cleaner can be a little overwhelming, especially in the lobby. Breakfast was average for this kind of hotel. Pool was closed "due to weather" and also has weird limited hours, which was a big disappointment for the kids. It hadn't rained in hours, other hotels and Patriot Park down the road had their outdoor pools open.

We only stayed here for a night, but the property and room were very clean. The location was in a very quiet area. I really liked that the room had laminate floors instead of carpet. The staff were very friendly when we checked in and out.
