This was my first time using Christian Brothers. My car had a transmission that went bad. I must say, they made the process easier and the car is running good. Not planning on having anymore serious mechanical issues but overall the experience was a good one.

Just had the opportunity to use Christian Brothers in Trussville for the first time, and I have to say, I’m really impressed. They provided me with an extremely detailed digital inspection which adequately explained everything my car needed. The team was able to walk me through it and help me make an informed decision. The whole process seemed very transparent, which made me super comfortable. Props to Baker and the team for running such a good facility. Would recommend to friends and family

Zero stars, if it were possible. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
I dropped off my truck for repairs to Chris for a problem with me starting my truck, the ignition lock to be exact. I was contacted by Chris stating that he needed additional time to diagnose the problem when we had discussed what the issue was. Chris then called me and stated that the total cost of repairs for the ignition lock and cylinder housing repair would be $523 ($300 for the diagnostic). I asked them to move forward with the repairs. A few days later I received a call stating that my truck was ready for pick up. Upon arrival, I was told that the mechanic can’t make the repairs and that $300 is due to retrieve my truck.
My family does not have $300 to throw away. The mechanic manipulated the ignition and they gave me a part that "they couldn't use". I was forced to pay the "diagnostic fees" for this work.
I didn't feel that this was fair. I reached out to the owner Mr. Whitten about a refund hoping he'd be willing to work with me.
He offered me "oil changes instead because his staff is paid off of diagnostic fees".
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Read ALL of the reviews and check the BBB. One of the pillars of their company is that they focus on integrity. The honest thing to do was to tell me that you couldn't fix my truck from the beginning. A name change may be needed with these business practices.
**Read ALL of the reviews and ALL of the responses for "Christian Brothers". There are issues with honesty, transparency and excessive fees/costs. This place takes advantage of people. I feel ripped off.**
