I cannot recommend Christian Brothers Automative enough! Their process was beyond seamless and they fixed/explained exactly what needed to be done. Do not hesitate utilizing their services - 10/10!

By far the best automotive shop around! I will not take my vehicle to any other place. The technicians are extremely knowledgeable and you always get a call after your quote to fully explain in detail what needs to be done to your vehicle. In my experience not only was it explained what I needed but honest advice was given not just a sales pitch to make more money. I made sure my new vehicle warranty would be covered when i brought it to Christian Brothers for service before I purchased it! Absolutely does!

Unfortunately, I’ve had recent bad experiences at this location that I now can’t recommend this business any longer. I had made an appt. prior to coming for an oil change and tire rotation. Appt. was at 10am, I arrived at the time and dropped it off. 1pm rolls around and I had only received one text at 11:45am that the “free inspection” was starting. When I call at 1pm, I am told it’s almost done and to be expecting a call back shortly. 45 minutes go by and nothing so I head over there. At 2pm, FOUR HOURS later, I am finally able to get my car. No reconciliation was offered or apologies for my wasted time. The guy’s only response to my disappointment- “I’m the only one at the front.” My car was clearly forgot about and I was lied to about the timing. My time was not respected and there was no transparency in what actually happened and why it took four hours. I had to unexpectedly rearrange my work day because of this. This also happened back in the spring when I took my husband’s car in to fix the AC. They had his car for a week knowing he is a physician and has to have transportation when on-call, yet diagnostic work took multiple days and they actually didn’t end up fixing the issue. (Partially fixed, but still getting a bad reading on driver side) Offered to do free diagnostic work if we bring it back again, but that’s about it. I want his car to be fixed, but they are so inconsistent with what they claim the timing will be, we can not risk it because we don’t trust them. I’m not sure if they are understaffed or if they are booking too many appts. but the issue is not respecting their customer’s time and the importance of needing a vehicle back ON TIME. I have been taking my car to Louisville Christian Brothers since I was a student in high school. When we moved here in 2022, I was elated there was a location here as I’ve always had great prior experiences. Unfortunately, with these instances, we will not be coming back to this location. We will be trying the other Christian Brothers location in Hoover before deciding to move on to another company. I am still giving two stars because I truly had great experiences at other locations and still believe in what the company stands for, but whatever has happened in the last 6-8 months with staffing and the business management is starting to show negatively.

Disappointed. The people in the office were dry and robotic (when delivering information), unfriendly, and simply just not customer service oriented. They fixed one issue, which was not the main issue of the vehicle. Supposedly, my car was not reading this code at the time. Yet, my vehicle was exhibiting the same behavior. They were going off what my what told my wife said the car was doing instead of being mechanics. When I took it back to fix the real issue, the car needed a tuneup. They charged me a diagnostic fee when they knew this could be an issue. what I most disappointed in is that my check engine light came back on shortly after I understand they must make money but, a known issue? When I talked to one of the guys, I won’t say his name, he got very sharp and argumentative (about regular maintenance), but I remained polite. So is that how you keep regular customers at the Greystone location?

Christian Brothers in Greystone was recommended to me by another mechanic that only works on foreign cars. They were fast and very detailed with pictures and a thorough check of everything on an email and communicated often. I will continue to use them.

Stopped in the other day to get help with my tire that had picked a bolt up off 280. They really did not want to help me at all. Did not even come out and look at it. Claimed I would have to leave it over night. And they could do it tomorrow.?Told them I couldn’t leave it because I had no way to get me and my child home. Told me sorry and offered me air. I am sorry it takes no time at all to help atleast put the spare tire on. Very disappointed in the lack of care.
