I have been with this office for over 45 years. I carried my first car insurance with the Trussville office back in 1979. Then when I bought my first house in 1986 I had my homeowners insurance policy with them as well. Well over the years it’s progressed to a second home, a few riders, life insurance , multiple cars. When Bo Murphy took over the office years ago it was a very smooth transition and I was thankful for that.
The staff has always so helpful and friendly. They are very knowledgeable about my needs. Until 2021 I had very limited and small claims. ( hail damage, small car accidents). But in early 2021, my second home was hit by a tornado. The damage was pretty severe. I heard that others in my neighborhood were having difficulty with their insurance company. But other than one minor issue, that was resolved in my favor everything went very smoothly and my home is better than ever.
I’ll stick with Statefarm. They’ve been great for me. Thanks Statefarm for all you have done over the past 45 years!

I can’t count the number of years I’ve been with State Farm…. I first come in contact with Bob Murphy back in the early 60s. .He offered me a job. it was probably a big mistake, but we remain friends…. I think Bo Murphy has been my agent for about seven years…. it’s always good to know your agent… Bo Murphy, State Farm agency as always been Johnny on the spot when I have had situations come up…. They have always been handled in an experience time frame and with friendly Knowledgeable employee. As if I was the only customer they had…. if you’re thinking about putting your insurance need with them, I will highly recommend Bo Murphy agency.

We have had the best experience here! We have three teenage drivers (all in their own separate vehicles) in addition to our two vehicles, a camper, and home owner’s insurance. Bo Murphy has been very affordable considering all of this! Most importantly, the customer service provided by Kayla has been superior! There have even been times we needed advice after hours and she has taken the time to respond (as best she could). Happy to give them our continued business and highly recommend them to anyone!

Synopsis: Bo Murphy bullied a 77 year old woman. My Mother has had State Farm for years but their agent passed and Bo Murphy became the new agent. When they had a claim due to storm damage, Bo was never available. After multiple calls and requests to speak with him for help (due to broken gas lines and property damage), he finally called her back to verbally abuse and bully her. If you are looking for an agent who truly believes the customer is wrong..... he's your man.
