On a trip we decided to stop in Birmingham and check out a few places. Avondale Hardwoods was a perfect place to stop, stretch our legs, plunder through the wood selections and met David and crew. We picked up some nice exotic’s for our business needs. We will mark Anondale hardwoods as a visit again when in Birmingham.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for any of your woodworking needs. They are masters at their craft and a pleasure to work with. They turned some newel posts for us some stairs in white oak and the end result came out absolutely stunning. Build tables and have special hard to find pieces of wood they sell to the public also. Give David a call. You won't be disappointed.

I've been to Avondale multiple times now and without fail, the owner David has been a wonderful help, the wood he sells is top notch, and he really makes sure you've got a plan before you leave his shop. Anyone looking to buy a slab or build a peice of furniture should stop by and look around.A+ place and I'll be a lifelong customer here.

Helpful! My son needed wood and advice for a Boy Scout woodworking merit badge. The owner was incredibly generous with his time and guided us to the correct wood. Also, the selection of wood is large and beautiful.

Yep, they’ll let you do that too. Have questions about their wood? They’re super helpful and knowledgeable. So if you’re short on wood, get on down there. They’ll get you fixed up with a nice piece of wood that you’ll be proud to show all of your friends.
