Worst customer services ever. My husband had some unauthorized charges on his debt card. I try calling all day and got no one to answer the phone to try to stop the charges.We go to the branch and the branch manager, Elma Tolbert, told us to hurry up so they could leave, telling us the charges would have to hit the account first. This was Oct.5th. We go the next morning, Oct.6th to dispute the charges and were told we would hear something in about 10 days. Here it is the 24th of the month and we still have not heard from anyone. I have try calling the customer service number and the branch number and have held for 25 minutes and no one answers. We have banked with the credit union for over 50 years and never had a problem until now. Looks like the branch needs some training in customer service.

Baddd customer service The black older lady was very rude and disrespectful ..she became very annoyed when I asked her questions about opening a IRA account she bluff me off as if I was interrupting her personal time I will be filing a complaint about the situation that occurred today even the manager seemed non chaluant when I inform her about the behavior!! I will not be returning to this branch such a disgrace

I have been a member of AmFirst for almost a decade now. I have run across nasty attitudes before, but never this degree of disrespect. Attempted to cash a check from my employer who handwrites them. When the teller (I don't remember her name but she was petite and had glasses) answered me, she said my check had to go on a two day hold because it was unusual or something. Which isn't even true. I have been cashing handwritten checks from my work since like May. But anyways, I sat there for a second, said I didn't understand, and she gives me a horrible look and says "you don't have anything coming in to your account, so it has to go on a two day hold or you have to take it to regions and have them cash it." So I took it to regions, and had to spend $5 because the teller wanted to be vindictive towards me for some reason. I have never had a check bounce or anything suspicious happen with my account. I felt very disrespected and will probably be leaving AmFirst soon. I don't know if it's different at credit unions, but tellers aren't supposed to treat loyal members that way, and especially not imply they dont have money. I will take my business where it'll be respected.

Can’t get anyone to respond for a loan request: sent the application and required information in. However the representative dropped the ball and I have to file for another pay off later. I sent that one and still haven’t received it. If you get an email from Erica Bennet know you’ll need to stay on top of her as she is slow to respond and it’s been weeks. I’ve requested a supervisor with no help.

I initially stop by this branch to open a savings account but upon my arriving I was greeted by the wonderful Mrs. Sophia Jackson. She was very professional, polite and had excellent customer service. I actually bank and work for Wells Fargo but after being approved for a checking account as well I am now all in with affcu. Thanks a lot for your superior service Mrs. Sophia.

The staff and management needs to learn to listen to there customers. I came to cash a check and ended up getting no help what so ever. They told me my check was a fraud check and kept the check. I waited to speak with one lady, I go in and the manager comes in says I’ll handle this I’m starving, we go to her office just for her to tell me we can’t do nothing have a nice day. Now I’m at another bank and there processing my check. I hope your lunch was good lady, now I can pay my bills.Forestdale bank is the worse!!I highly recommend anyone to go to another location!!

I've been banking with Americas first for years. I'd recommend them to anyone. But today I ran into some trouble with my account. Had to talk to a manager. This lady was very rude. And not understanding at. Alma Tolbert Kept is the lady's name. I'd recommend Affcu to anyone. But I'd avoid this particular . manager.
