I only recently heard of this company, so since I had a doctors appointment at Kirklin, I decided to order some boiled peanuts (don’t have the greatest teeth so can’t do roasted.
While the flavor (salt flavor) was nice (a tad more subdue version of Peanut Patch), the peanuts themselves were not soft enough for my preference for boiled peanuts. They seemed just a couple notches softer than the roasted.

unique store that sells boiled peanuts (different flavors) as well as roasted peanuts. I tried the 3 boiled peanuts sampler. It's on a unique street that invites people to support small businesses. They also sell beer and soda. I loved the ginger ale with a southern spice. Will return. I came via the Birmingham Historic Touring Company on their highlights tour and this was one of the many gems I experienced.

Just finished their large Cajun boiled peanuts and they were perfect. Not a fan of spicy foods so was a bit skeptical but glad I did. Wish this place had locations up North.

Been coming here since the early 70s.. my how it has changed and for the better. I love what they have done with the place .. adding a bar,tables and beverages for a dine in experience! Certainly one of the hidden gems of Birmingham. Best peanuts you can find!!!

We arrived 30 minutes after the business was open, they did not have their advertised peanut flavor ready. Not only was the flavor not ready after 30 minutes of the business being open the associates there was not very friendly or welcoming. It felt like a dungeon inside the business and I felt like I was about to get tortured next absolutely a miserable place to be.

This was my first time trying boiled peanuts and wasn't sure what to expect. They were delicious. Similar to eating edamame but with more flavor due to the marinades they are cooked in. I loved the Cajun seasoning paired with a spicy pickle monster beer. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Gave me a sample first and a quick rundown about the history of the facility. Would highly recommend.

I've been following this place on fb for years. We finally had the opportunity to stop in and im glad we did. The staff was very helpful, and they allow you to taste the brine to each flavor prior to ordering. The atmosphere is very quaint and laid back. I definitely recommend everyone try it.
