Formal Complaint filed details below:Dear Sir/Madam,I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at the Crestwood location on October 5, 2023. As a customer, I believe it is essential to bring to your attention the concerning incident that occurred during my visit, which reflects negatively on the reputation of your business.According to the listed operating hours on Google, your establishment operates from 11 AM to 7 PM. However, upon my arrival at 6:57 PM, I encountered an unexpected obstacle that left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I approached the entrance, and to my surprise, I found it locked. In an attempt to gain access, I made eye contact with the employee named Marty, who was positioned near the entrance. Regrettably, rather than providing assistance, Marty refused to unlock the door or assist me in any way. Instead, he motioned for me to use the exit as an entrance, displaying a dismissive and unprofessional attitude.Subsequently, as I entered the establishment, Marty proceeded to comment, "Well, if you're going to be that grown-up, then you're going to do it on your own." This response was not only disrespectful but also demonstrated a lack of regard for customer service standards. Furthermore, when I placed my purchase on the counter, I felt compelled to remind Marty of a previous formal complaint I filed against the Homewood location for a similar incident involving the entrance. To my surprise, the employee named Barry, who was checking me out, responded by stating that Marty was merely attempting to keep certain individuals out. I responded by suggesting that if there are individuals with trespassing issues, it may be more appropriate to involve law enforcement and obtain a no-trespassing order, as inconveniencing regular customers during business hours is an unfair and unacceptable practice.Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention another concerning incident that transpired during the encounter with Marty. Not only did he display unprofessional behavior by denying me proper access to the establishment, but he also inquired about my place of work. When asked why he wanted this information, he stated that he intended to visit my workplace right before closing time. In response, I informed Marty that I am employed at ____, where we consistently provide excellent customer service and never close early. I emphasized that at my workplace, we prioritize our customers' needs and ensure they have proper access to our services. Such invasive and intimidating behavior by Marty is both inappropriate and unwarranted in a customer service environment.The incident I have described above has left me deeply disappointed and disillusioned with the level of customer service at your establishment. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of any security concerns or policies in place. It is disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior, which directly affects the overall customer experience.Therefore, I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly by reviewing the security camera footage for October 5, 2023, specifically focusing on the period between 6:57 PM and 7PM. I believe reviewing the footage will provide you with an accurate account of the incident and allow you to address the inappropriate conduct exhibited by your employee.In conclusion, I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation and ensure that incidents of this nature do not recur in the future. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. My friend who has disabilities fell outside. They all came outside to assist and made sure she was OK.
