I would think twice before doing business with this company.. one of the trucks with our belongings was broken into on the moving company’s property. It was thought to be an inside job by one of the employees. While the owner replaced some of our items he has yet to make good on the others and refuses to take our calls or return our text messages which I still have on my phone as proof. This is no way to do business. On top of this there was damage done to some of our furniture as well. Owner talks a god game, but once he has your business and has been paid he is done. I waited months to post this, giving him more than adequate time to make good and respond, understanding being busy. It has become more than obvious he has no intention of doing the right thing..this move was at the end of November 2023. Moving is hard enough without going through something like this.

I’ve been using Dave and his crew for years for personal moves as well as receiving and delivery for my business. Always professional and careful. They packed and moved my parents whole house last year. Everything was so carefully packed and methodically labeled. It made the whole process easy and painless.

The day they were supposed to move some of my furniture and boxes into storage, instead of 5 movers, there was 1 guy in charge and 2 high school kids that were totally untrained. I called Dave to complain. He said more movers would be coming to help. They ran out of supplies to secure the furniture and used MY packing tape, putting it on wood furniture, which damaged the finish when removed. Dave had told me they would put blankets on the items and leave them on while in storage. They did not do this, stacking furniture on top of furniture in storage with no protection.After a few hours 2 movers from Moving On came to help out. They were amazing. They speeded up the process and showed the Wise Move movers what to do and how to do it.After the horrible experience with A Wise Move, I hired Moving On for the actual move to North Carolina and they did an awesome job.I took pictures of the damages as furniture was moved out of storage and sent this to Dave at A Wise Move. He said I needed to have them repaired and send him a bill showing the repairs had been done. When I sent the bill to him he completely ignored it. When I called him to ask about it he said it had been too long and he had no proof the repairs had been done so he couldn’t do anything. Then he hung up on me.DO NOT use A Wise Move. They are awful!!!

I highly recommend A Wise Move. Dave and his guys were excellent. Prompt, professional, courteous, and made sure all my belongings were well taken care of and placed where needed. The guys never stopped moving while loading and unloading. Dave was great, communicative, and made the moving process a breeze. I will definitely use again for any moving needs in the future.

I hired A Wise Move to move some of my furniture and boxes into storage. When they showed up, instead of having 5 movers there were 3 - one in charge and 2 high school kids that were completely untrained. They ran out of supplies and used MY packing tape, including securing tops and doors on wood furniture, damaging the finish when removed. Several hours into the move, Dave finally sent 2 movers from another company Moving On who were very knowledgeable and got the job done. Dave told me they would leave the blankets on the furniture in storage to protect it. They did not leave any blankets, instead stacking pieces on top of each other. After seeing how professional Moving On was, I hired them for the final move to North Carolina and they did an excellent job. When I sent the bill to Dave for the damages his company caused, he ignored it. When I called him he said it had been too long and he had no proof of repairs so he couldn't do anything. He then hung up on me. DO NOT use A Wise Move!!! You will regret it!

Dave and his guys at A Wise Move really got us out of a tough spot and offered to hold a piece of furniture in their warehouse for us while the painters delayed our project. They’re quick to respond and easy to communicate with. They really go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with their service and your things are taken care of. I’d call them any day. They made my life so much easier.

I called Dave today in a bind, and he immediately sent 4 guys over to assemble a bed for me. they were all kind and courteous and got the job done in 10 minutes max! great service!!!

Couldn't ask for a better or smoother move! They moved items from my mom’s to my house and then had to move furniture around at my house! Super company and will use again when needed. Passing the word around!

We had a great experience with A Wise Move. The guys showed up and never stop moving until after they unloaded at our new home and got everything placed and set up like we asked. They made a point of being careful with our furniture and the walls, doors and floors at both houses they were in. Their price was extremely affordable. It was really a wise move for us to chose A Wise Move!!
