Wow this place is so cool! Literally my 9 year old son and I spend at least an hour inside every time we come here. They have cool stuff for little kids, big kids, teens, and adults. Seriously expect to spend a nice chunk of time just checking out what's inside.

I have been shopping here for several years now. The prices on new items are pretty much MSRP, but you can find some good deals on used items. The service is always great. The only issue I have is when tradeing in used items you really won't get much at all. If you have any collectibles it's probably best to sale on ebay and just take the mass produced popular items in to trade. Always take store credit because the cash option is usually about 1/2 of the store credit option.

I come here a lot, and the experience varies a lot. Sometimes the selection is good, sometimes it's bad because it's a second hand store. The value also varies a lot. Some things will be $20 over priced, but sometimes it will be $20 underpriced. But the service is the worst part. We have stood at the case where they keep all the more expensive case for 10 minutes just waiting because they are so slow. That is the only bad part about here, but it still gets four stars for how good the value and selection can be, weather it's video games, manga, regular books, Legos, collectible items, or music, there is something for everyone here. Like I said earlier, it's a second hand store, but they have new and used things, so the prices vary in that category too. But since this place has been my favorite place to go for the past five years, and I've gotten a lot of good stuff here, I would say it's worth coming here.

First time here but everything was amazing. Unique selections, things that I haven't seen at other book or game stores, and great prices. They have so much to look at and it's well organized.

I loved this store and it's used books sections. If I lived it Birmingham it would be a new favorite place. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place.

This place is really big and cool, but it's kind of overwhelming and hard to navigate. I wish they would separate the used items from the new items because one book will be like $10 dollars and another of the same ones, in a different condition, will be like $6, so it would be easier to know when you're getting a deal. The people that work here are cool and the store is very clean. I brought books in to sell and that process what very easy. I will say about the books though, I brought in like 25 books but only got $7 cash or $13 store credit for them. I thought that was pretty wacky when one of the books I gave them, they had on shelves for $11.50. I understand having to make profit but at that point was it even worth it to bring my books to you? I could sell them myself. I know I sound a bit passive aggressive to this place because it is nice, but I just feel like it could be better. I know this place makes a lot of money so I dont know why it sells used books at full value but wont pay you good enough for the books they'll make a good penny on over some time. Anyway, it is a great book store because theres a LOT to choose from. Its half second hand, half new. So some good prices, some not. I do recommend going though.

Will never ever visit this store again. The service was bad and their book buy-back price was a joke. The books I presented did not have ripped covers and were not bent unlike many of the ones on the store shelves. We had some of the same authors and they wanted anywhere from $4 to $6 for an individual used book while they wanted to give me roughly $6.25 in cash or a $12.50 store credit for the two plus boxes that I brought.

This is more than a Bookstore! The drive there is a hassle but it's an amazing place. Huge selection with lots of deals. They also sell and buy used books and collectibles. I think I saw a Lightsaber last visit. If you want a good book to read check this place out. They have stuff that the other big box stores don't have too. Highly recommend!

Employees are rude and all seem unhappy. Also, they are quite critical of the books you are trying to sell. It's far from a welcoming or pleasant shopping experience. I've given them a few chances to improve. They haven't. I wont be back!

I visited this bookstore for the first time and instantly fell in love with it. The arrangement is impeccable, and I was able to find all the books I was looking for. The staff's generosity added to the wonderful experience.♥️♥️♥️

2nd & Charles ... I will NEVER step foot into that store again!!!! Don't go there to sell anything. You'll almost make more money giving it away. I brought in an entire tote of hardback books and two unopened DVD sets and was given $7.80. What a scam!!!! Additionally I had to present my ID TWICE, give my email, cellphone number and a FINGERPRINT for them to do business with me!!!!
