I was initially sold on Tellus by looking at the initial reviews and I encouraged my mother to do business with this place back in January 2024. She originally described her experience with Tracy as amazing. After my mother’s move in, she had quite a lot of household items left over that would not fit into her storage unit, so after evaluating the situation a month and a half after she was in her unit, I decided to get another unit to store the rest of her things plus some other things. When I went in and spoke with Tracy, it was amazing and I could see why everyone raved about her in the reviews because she was amazing in every way. The thing I asked Tracy was how much would my payments be after the promotion that they were giving away at the time was over. The said promotion was $42 for the first 3 months and $80 would be my regular payments going forward and that it would not go up beyond that due to the hard times and a bunch of other stuff that she explained which made sense and had me to put my faith in this company. I then specifically asked her if the company goes up on their price after the tenant has been there for a while because I told her that I was at a set budget and she said and promised that the company does not go up on pricing. That turned out to be a huge lie and I can’t fully put this on Tracy because for whatever reason, she left the company prior to all of these changes being made and that promise went out the window. First my mother mentioned that they went up on her monthly payments by $15 (this was after only being a tenant for 4 months and I told her at the time that they did not go up on mine, but I would keep a lookout. Well I did get an email notice 2 months later and just like hers, mine has gone up but instead of it being $15 more like what they surprised my mother with, mine has gone up by $20. I have only been a tenant for 4 months now. I wonder why the difference in price raises for my mothers unit and my unit? I believe there is something shady going on at this place and I would advise for anyone considering doing business here to reconsider. Especially if you are on a budget and you get a promise of pricing will not change.

After my initial review, I had a positive follow up with Jason C and he explained the entire process and ultimately made it right. Despite my initial frustrations, he was able to provide excellent service and communication which was appreciated.

Wish I could give 0 star, this place we use to love a couple months ago since we first got out unit, but this past month has been awful! The facility is absolutely disgusting! The old manager use to keep it so clean and bug free… not anymore. There are so many dead bugs laying all in the hallways and trash everywhere where broken furniture has been left! Definitely wouldn’t recommend!
And whoever they have working there this morning was so rude to me and then brought up that it was the “old manager’s” fault it was so nasty…. (By the way she has been gone a month) So unprofessional to talk about an employee to a tenant.
And it was super clean when they had the old manager. Definitely wish she was back at this location!

The Karen on first shift is reason enough to avoid this place.... Rude, uppity, condescending, and just not a pleasant person. Spend elsewhere

We love this storage facility! Great climate control and a secured facility! Staff is on point when it comes to making sure all needs are taken care of! Reasonably priced compared to other places that offer so much less!

Tracy Reid is AMAZING!!!She is very professional and helpful!Her customer service is top notch!The 5 Star Manager Awards I noticed in her office are WELL deserved. She needs to receive one or 2022 definitely!!!

Not happy with the rental rates always going up. i miss Christine. i will not suggest this storage to anyone that ask me. Will be looking for another climax control storage real soon.

In consolidating 3 homes into 1 in McCalla, we have really appreciated have our items stored so close. The manager and staff are really nice, and helpful, too!
