I waited days for a package. It was finally delivered to the wrong address despite my detailed directions and they were supposed to call me. Now someone else has the product I paid for. FedEx employees don't want to work. I do,hire me.

My package arrived at this facility last Thursday. Driver drives up to my home o Friday and goes into the back of his truck while I am in front yard. Comes out of truck and tells me “I guess your package wouldn’t fit, so it will be on overflow truck later today or tomorrow (Saturday) nothing Saturday. Today says once again “on truck for delivery “ as it has Thursday,Friday, Saturday. Just changed from Delivery by the end of today to “new date pending” This facility is 6 miles from my home. Fed Ex is absolute garbage.

I NEVER get my packages on time or AT ALLL!!! Then I have to PAY EXTRA $$$ because your delivery driver couldn't do his job in the first place! I will be report this location to BBB.

Never called prior to delivery attempt forcing me to pick up. Called for directions and said I was on the way, arrived at the gate at 9am and was informed they don't do pickups until 10...I was NOT told this on the phone just an hour earlier so a manager had to be called on site to ok it. Staff on site were great but the manager on the phone previously and lakisha blocker have the worst customer service skills imaginable! This is the third issue in 2 months. Recommend shipping through another carrier if at all possible.

I did some repair work there and the employees were nice and very accommodating. While I was there working, I did have a delivery to pick up and of course the service was. This location does a great job at representing the company and the brand.

They really deserve 0/5 stars. Horrible everything. I ordered some shoes and long story short an employee stole them and they are trying to cover up for it and giving me the run around. DO NOT ORDER/DELIVER WITH FEDEX JUST USE UPS.

DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!! EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIM TO BE "FAMILY ORIENTED" THIS COMPANY IS NOT. IF YOU CALL OUT FOR A FAMILY EMERGENCY, THEY WILL THREATEN TO TAKE YOUR PAY OR PAY YOU LESS FOR 5 DAYS IN ORDER TO MANIPULATE YOU INTO COMING IN. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INABILITY TO HELP WHEN DANGER HAPPENS. OSHA NEEDS TO BE ALL UP IN THIS BUILDING AND FOLLOWING ALL MANAGERS, FOREMAN, DRIVERS AND SUCH....

The first call to FedEx freight was excellent...I received the information inquired about. However, the second call later in the day just 20 minutes before the scheduled time was baffling. The CSR could not find the pickup but suddenly found it after frustrating me and her.It all worked out. The driver was courteous and patient.

Package I mailed 2 hours up the road arrived at Bessemer same day. It has been sitting there over a week showing delayed. Customer service just tells you "we're backed up" . This place is a joke. Fedex should just skip this hub on all greater Birmingham delivers. It's 10 min away from the intended destination, and has been delayed over a week and they can't tell you when it'll be able to be delivered. Also they won't just let you come get the package yourself. I should have drove it the two hours myself. This is the second issue I've had this month with this facility. I won't ever ship fedex again. Moral of the story they may be cheaper than ups, but you get what you pay for.

Package 1-Said “Delivered” but wasn’t. I was literally in my kitchen, 2 feet from my front door when I got the notification. No package. No FedEx delivery vehicle. Customer Service tried to act like it was my fault… I guess it was.It was my fault I purchased from a place that used FedEx for delivery.Package 2-Ordered back in November. It is December 21st and still no package. Says it’s at the Bessemer Facility. (Which is about a 1 minute drive from my house.)Package 3-Ordered at the beginning of December. It was shipped from Anniston, AL to Bessemer, AL. Held at Bessemer for 4 days then shipped to MS and then TN…. (FYI- I live in walking distance from the Bessemer Facility.)Packages 4, 5, 6 and 7-Ordered at the beginning of December. They have all been sitting at the Bessemer Facility since then…. (Did I mention that I live in WALKING DISTANCE from the Bessemer Facility??????)They need to stop screwing around and get corporate in there to help get this sorted out and moving along. This screw up is costing people jobs, time, and money. They should seriously let people come down there and get their own packages. Help us help you, FedEx!!!!

They will cancel your business freight pickups and not tell you until you call to check on it. They cancelled ours without any notification because of a "late call." Basically they came after the business hours they were given and decided not to do a next day pick up instead, which would have been fine if they weren't able to make it day of the call. This was also on a priority shipment, so it affected our customer as well. This is not the first time this has happened on our priority shipments, so I recommend using literally anyone but FedEx.

I just finished talking to someone at this location (or maybe it was a call center?!)....I don't need to add anything here right now because I'm too angry, upset, and frustrated. Just read all the other 1-star reviews, it's all true!!! The ONLY 5-star reviews are from employees of FedEx. I will add that I will NOT do business with anyone anymore that uses FedEx for shipping until FedEx gets their s**t together!!

FedEx 2920 Davey Allison Blvd, Bessemer AL 35020 is the absolute worse...they have held my package for 3 days with no valid reason. Tracking information is limited also customer service and the resolution support team can not provide help. Perhaps this location close their doors until skilled management and workers can process shipments properly. 1 Star is too high for this Review! I can understand the Holidays can sometimes delay shipments but this is not the case. Previous Reviews are proof that this facility has major operation issues.
