If i could leave zero stars i would. The general manager Amy is helpless and can’t even do her own job. Worst customer service i have ever experienced. Worst dollar general ever. The workers here are awful.

One employee in the entire building, Both self checkout registers are closed and no a/c in 90 degree weather
If I couldn’t do any better than that I’d find someone who could or lock it down

I pulled in the parking lot at 3:45pm for a worker to say they were closed with no explanation... more like they didn't want to work.

Every single time I go there I'm expected to use self checkout which is fine unless I need cigarettes then no matter how much you tell them you're in a hurry they don't care they'll get to you when they want to. Every single time I put my card in to pay at self checkout the system reboots every single time and I'm expected to just stand there and wait every single visit now. Cant even just check me out they make me wait. I have spent so much money at this store but lately it's just such a waste. I'd rather just go somewhere where they actually acknowledge your existence and help when you need it

The store is very very dirty, everything is either in the wrong spot or there are things where they shouldn't be. An employee is hardly ever around it at the register, I went in today and there was an employee talking on her phone very loudly and didn't even say hello or excuse me. Poor customer service. Very messy and overall a terrible place to shop. If he items are on the correct shelf, they hardly have anything in stock.

I visited the store at the intersection of Morgan Road and Parkview on Easter at 1:53 in the afternoon. The cashier was at the cashier stand blaring music. I asked her a question she dismissively answered me as if I was bothering her. When she went to ring me up she did not greet me say hello or anything to make me feel welcome. After ringing me up told me my total I paid for the card she said nothing else to me. And started bringing up the next person. It was very obvious this person did not want to be working that day

First thing if you don’t want to be at work and you can’t be customer friendly. Don’t come or apply for customer service. For 2 dollar general need more people working stocking these shelf’s because the cashier is trying to cashier and stock shelf’s at the same time. THE STORE IS A MESS can’t find nothing the store is to junky. It’s really sad. What happened to customer service? Everybody is rude

Several times I've been here, items are not priced or priced incorrectly prompting me to take photos of their stickers under the products when they have them. Today I picked up a whole box of 12/24 count crayons. On the end of the box their sticker read 3/$1, they rung up 50 cents each. I told her they were 3/$1. "They rang up 50 cents each" I said look at the end of the box. "You shoyld tell me before I ring it up" REALLY?!!! So I said most of these ... Then she cut me off "wait til I finish fixing this." You can keep it and I left informing her so and that they need to get their stuff priced.

I visited this location of Dollar General on Wednesday, December 30 and Thursday, December 31. The store was closed two hours early (at 8pm) on Wednesday. When I went back the following day around 11am, a manager, Missy, was working the cash register - she was the only employee in the store and they were BUSY!!! Apparently Missy was planning to work for as long as she was able to, then close the store. She handled the situation very well, in my opinion, and was cordial to everyone, even as she, alone, cashed out and bagged up a long line of customers, some complaining because the wait time was longer than usual. Also, according to their website and signage, they are supposed to be offering Western Union services at this location now.. However, I've been told by two different managers that they don't. If they're not going to allow customers to utilize the WU services, they need to take down all the signs and remove their store number from the WU list on the DG website. Honestly, this DG location didn't deserve one star, but Google Maps forces you to give at least one when doing a rating. The professionalism displayed by the DG manager during such a stressful time is the ONLY reason I am giving this DG 3 stars. You may want to call ahead to verify that they're open and not closing early before you drive too far and if you're in need of Western Union services, verify whether or not they're offering them that day before wasting your time and gas making a trip to this Dollar General.
