Terrible store. Went there and had to wait for 5 minutes for a cashier to show up, and instead there were small kids at the register, who I think are also working there .Store isn’t being kept tidy, gas pumps, drink fountains and many other items not working . Whoever the owner is needs to stop slacking and supervise. How haven’t they been shut down cause of the untidiness and awful service. Also I’m pretty sure the kids are being exploited by the owners so they don’t have to pay adults to work !! Would definitely not recommend going there

Cashier can’t speak or understand English very well. They keep advertising local honey but don’t have nor know what it is!

This morning, I pulled up to go in & buy a drink. I got an email that needed a fast response. I parked away from the door, windows & gas pumps so I could send the email. I was in the parking lot for 7 minutes, when the new Indian guy (part owner) walked up to my door, motioned for me to roll my window down, then asked me to park around on the backside of the store.I really gave the new owners a shot, but today changed everything. I've been going to that store for 33 years... but not anymore. I'll share my experience with others as well.

Check your items before you buy them. My son bought some mustard that had already been opened and the top was glued on. Not sure where they are getting their merchandise. No refund because my son didn’t ask for a receipt.

Perfect general store. The prices are fair and the selection on tools, plumbing, electrical, and food is really convenient for a community that’s 20 minutes away from most other stores.

Virginia Mines Grocery is ran by exceptionally friendly and helpful owners and clerks. Great for breakfast food items. Sausage biscuits, bacon egg and cheese, steak biscuits, chicken biscuits, mini cinnamon buns etc. Lunch food includes hot and ready pepperoni pizzas. You can call in order ahead of time for pickup generally in 15 to 25 minutes. They have a great gardening area t hhat are great for gifts. Can get propane and great deals on everyday items besides geoceries.
