Do NOT go there. He took X-rays on a dog that were so bad they couldn't be used. Charged $600! Said the dog had a dislocated hip, quoted a surgery price of 2K to 4K. We pulled the dog and took him to Hope Animal Clinic. We took the X-rays but they couldn't even be read by Hope they were so bad. The dog did NOT have a dislocated hip he had a crushed shoulder! Which Dr. Gaines claimed was fine. Run as fast as you can from this place!

I lovr Dr. Gaines and his staff. He gas been Vet for many years. He knows his stuff. He is concerned about the animals. He kept calling ne checking on my Bella?

Staff is always helpful.
They're wonderful to my animals. However, HIS attitude is rude and can be offensive to many. I know he is old and doesn't like people calling yet he answers the office phone with an attitude. He has been extremely rude to me 2X.
If you question about a price or two he will make you feel petty and gaslights you. He's definitely old and mean.

Very rude and seemed unprofessional since he hung up in my face. Was just wanting prices and was told the office visit price and told it was about the same every where however they were actually cheaper on the office visit. Asked about a chest xray and he wouldn't quote a price and was very rude about it. Why does nobody care about the animals any more. It seems to be only about the $$$. Would not take my dog to be euthanized here. Not Professional and very arrogant and rude. If you can't even talk to someone decent on the phone I could only imagine how you treat the animals and probably your staff. Wish there was an option for no star. This place definitely deserves it. Thank you save yourself the time and trouble from even going here and especially calling.

I can't recommend Dr. Gaines enough to people. My oldest cat has seen him multiple times, and recently, I was scared he'd want to put him down. Nah, he wanted to do everything he could to avoid euthanasia. He also handled a secondary concern free of charges!

I love the staff here. They are so supportive and helpful. I never have to worry about if my fur baby is going to be taken care of.

They were absolutely fantastic! I called this morning around 9ish to make an appointment to get my fur babies' first shots and all done. We were outta there by 11:00. They had both my fur babies in and out within an hour. Thank y'all so much again!They are open on Saturday till 12 :)
