“With all the cynicism regarding anything having to do with the Federal Government, and yes the very obvious business problems of the USPS, this location does an amazing job. Located on St Joseph Street its a huge building, with ample parking on the street as well as a small lot on the side. The building is older but comfortable to be in, its very clean, with a quiet yet efficient air conditioner and heater, and it has an old Mobile charm that most people would find charming. The staff is awesome, unlike some of the horror stories you have heard about other Postal employees, they are on the ball. They can answer most questions efficiently and correctly. They have a large understanding of how to streamline the passport process, rent a p.o. box, sell you a money order or even just send the letter or package you need. The people who work here really seem to enjoy it and go out of their way to help. They always greet with a smile and seem to be able to remember you if you have ever been there before. All in all, probably the best postal experience I have ever had in my life!”
