Absolutely deplorable. Poor workmanship, dishonesty, and zero professionalism. Claimed it takes a long time to get parts in, but even after that took 2+ months to get the repair done poorly. Also claimed they need outside vendors to get work, like alignment and cleaning upholstery (which they messed up). I was able to tighten the screw on a trim with my fingers after they took 3+ weeks to redo unacceptable work, and 2+ days to look over the car more than 10X (their claim) and test drive (their claim) it. This was after the first time they said the repair was completed, and I refused to accept the car because of defective part and workmanship. The second time I went to pick up the car, found under inflated tires (How and why would you test drive on those?). Still finding issues with the car. Definitely find another shop if your insurance co refers you to them like USAA did.

I'm not sure about others, but I had a great experience. I only spoke with Andy other than my initial interaction with the rep who directed me to send my info to him. I used my insurance for my car problems and everything went smoothly, especially with updates, etc. I appreciate the customer service and the other details they included. I'd definitely keep them for any future issues.
Thanks

This is the worst experience I have ever had with what is supposed to be an honest reputable business. My vehicle has been at this shop since December 27, 2023 with an initial estimate of 15 days. Every time we call there is a different excuse from delays due to Covid on parts to finding additional damage. My vehicle was rear ended with damage only to the passenger rear. This shop initially quoted $5900 that has increased an additional $4000 being charged to my insurance. This is one of the biggest scams I have ever seen. What damage has been found in February that was not found in December or January? No one has contacted us we are left to call the business and be given a different date and a different excuse every time. We will never patronize this business again and I hope that USAA severs ties with them as this is one of their preferred vendors.
Update: Since this post we have been given 3 additional dates and 3 more excuses and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY VEHICLE. 2 MONTHS +

Re: My BMW 430 IRepair needed: Entire front bumperI am a 3 time returning client.Insurance company: State-farm ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The claim process was extremely simple. Here’s my review.- [ ] Jake was able to give me a quote. Upon accepting the quote I was able to schedule a date to return my vehicle for repair. -1 week.- [ ] Jake stated that it would be 1-2 weeks to complete the repairs. It was exactly 2 weeks as promised. Jake called me after 1 week of service to update me. I thought that was great because communication is important to me.- [ ] The shop was very roomy, modern, clean and beautiful.- [ ] Jake and Kelly was SUPER friendly. Jake makes you feel comfortable and at ease. And, Kelly is a burst of loveliness and sunshine.- [ ] There is an Enterprise satellite office on site. I had the pleasure to work with Quay and Shay. They both were overly accommodating and helpful. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- [ ] The repairs are FLAWLESS. I have to brag on the technicians, they do an excellent job. I know that there is a lot of great shops in town, but I love Ray’s and trust 100% in their ability to get the job done. The repair is seamless. It’s back brand new.- [ ] The shop detailed my car before delivering it back to me. Yes! It was detailed to perfection. I fell back in love with my car again. It was so clean. In closing, I LOVE this woman-based business. I got a chance to meet the owner Dana right at the end and gave her two big hugs. She went over and beyond to ensure that one last thing was handled for me. She went the extra mile and I a forever grateful.Dana, you have a great business and I will be a customer forever. Blessings to you and your entire staff.Future customers, my tip to you is be PATIENT and expect a possible delay for unforeseen circumstances. What I have observed is that this shop takes it time to ensure everything is 100 % correct, precise and accurate. I did not call Jake a gazillion times because I “did not want to rush the process.”If you have patience and want quality work done, please take your vehicle to Ray’s.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-Shanesia

Ray's had my truck for 7 weeks, and I didn't recieve 1 update. I had to call every week to get an update and was given two different days for completion. Otherwise everything was good. I should've been given weekly updates. That's just common courtesy.

My husband hit a deer in mid February and got right on getting a claim turned in. We chose Rays Collision Center because we've dealt with them before with no issues. He was informed they couldn't get his car in until April 25th and that date was firm. So we dropped the car off and Rays STILL has his car! Only issue was they were waiting on a headlight. Well the headlight FINALLY CAME IN June 21st and they said his car would be done this week. He called today and got the owner of the company on the phone who had been out with a broken leg for 6 weeks so she was unaware of the issues we have had. She told my husband the car won't be done until next week now!!! Seriously! Needless to say we won't be returning to Rays any time soon once we get my husbands car back!

Shame on USAA for sending me to Rays Collision of Columbus 50th street! Upon my body work getting completed, Rays collision attempted not once but three times to get the paint correct. Every time I got the call that the paint was completed, it only came back with more new scratches! USAA has the nerve an insisted that I take my truck back. They have had three attempts to get it done and still fail to complete the job to satisfaction. The customer service is great but there work is poor and lousy… stay away from Rays Collision … I would recommend north Columbus collision center.. and stay away from USAA if at all possible

(Length warning)I was happy with work they did on my car, which sustained about $7,000 worth of front end damage in a parking lot fender bender.About three months later I discovered something wrong with the undercarriage. A piece of mesh that sits under the engine was torn and appeared dislodged.I had no idea what happened to it, but I had some suspicion that the piece might not have been attached securely during the repairs. So with my car sitting in the parking lot in the rain, a lady brings out the guy who worked on my car. It was obvious from the jump he was taking no responsibility. He looked at it for less than 10 minutes, never getting under the front with a light for a close exam and proclaimed, without evidence, that I had run over something and caused it to dislodge. He then pointed to a scratch on the side of the the top of the bumper and somehow deduced that was evidence of the damage I caused. The fact was that fairly minor scratch was caused when I brushed up too closely to some shrubbery at the post office drive through in Auburn. The shrubs have since been trimmed back.If I had actually hit something or run over something to dislodge a piece under the front of the car it would have done substantial damage to the very low riding front bumper.I thought they would at least have driven the car in the shop and put it on the rack for a close examination. But they surmised with no evidence that it was my fault and refused to fix it or at least do some patchwork on it to keep it from all falling off on the freeway. All they wanted was a photo of the scratch to convince my insurance company it was all my fault.Hopefully there won’t be a next time, but if there is, I won’t be returning to this shop, and I plan to advise my family, friends and neighbors to avoid it.ADDENDUMJan. 4, 2022 the star rating to only one after the Hyundai dealership in Auburn determined my car had been running hot for months because Ray’s put the wrong kind of coolant in the car after apparently draining the factory installed fluid out during repairs. There is no apparent damage to the engine, but it cost me nearly $200 and a lot of time wasted by me, plus keeping my car overnight, for Hyundai mechanics to finally determine what was wrong with it and fix it.Steaming mad with Ray’s.I reduced

I had a simple parking lot accident that Primarily damaged the left corner of my 2020 Hyundia Sonata. Just looking at the car after they finished the body damage it looked fine. But it was the little things that weren't readily apparent that they screwed up. After driving it a few days, a piece of fiberglass undercarriage fell off the car. When I took the car back, they claimed I had run over a curb and caused the damage, which was a bald face lie. They refused to make it right. Fast forward more than six months. I started getting warning from my Hum diagnostics device that the car was running hot. But it was not showing up any warning lights on the car. Then, in December 2021 I drove the car from Dothan to Auburn and got a warning from the Hyundai system that the car had run hot and needed to be shut down. After it cooled off, I checked the coolant level, and it was fine. I took the car into Hyundai of Auburn. Two days later, the shop advised me that Ray's Collision Center workers had put the wrong kind of coolant in the car and there was damage done to the car's radiator. They were still testing it, but their charge just find the damage was already at $200 under a new leased vehicle, and I have no idea what the final bill will be. Arrogant and irresponsible repair workers at Ray's's. I will never send another vehicle of mine to Rays. They are incompetent and arrogant!
