I currently have a 22 Kia K5 that is still under warranty. My cars check engine light was on plus several other warning lights. I took it in to KOA and they couldn't figure it out. I left it at the dealership for a week. I called back to check on the car and they still didn't know but the service rep stated that they changed the wiring harness. He said they have never seen this before. They ran the diagnostics on the car seven codes came up and each code has to be evaluated. Long story short I decided to trade the car. They stated it needed a co-signer, called my dad, he agreed. They sent paperwork out through docusign, my father didn't get it signed and it times out bc he's not tech savvy. He said take the car home and they would resend paperwork. So we did the contract that Saturday. The finance company called that following Tuesday to verify contract details and I found out the names were switched . Contract stated my dad was the buyer and I was the co-signer. I was told call back to dealer. Dealer said it's ok, Alabama is a 50/50 state blah blah blah , the deal is better with his name on top BUT THEY DIDNT ASK US THAT NOR DID THEY PERMISSION TO MAKE THE CHANGE. . I was given the runaround for over a week. So I decided to move on and just get the tag. I go to the tax office only to find out there was no trade. I went back to KOA and was given back my K5. They promised me a loaner car the Friday of the week I bought the car . If my K5 was wasnt fixed I would get loaner. I currently have my K5 back but I'm afraid to drive it. It idles up to 2-3 RPMs, it will cut off when driving, the warning lights are still on. So I was told my car part would be in today. No one called so I called them and asked to speak to service manager PJ. He tells me something totally different. He says such and such is wrong and the part won't be back for 6 more days. So this car haven't been driven for almost weeks. Technically I have no idea what's wrong with car! I have been given the run around. This place is scamming. They would have gotten over on me if I didn't try to transfer the registration. Now my current car is down and I have to wait several weeks to get a part when I don't know the issue. The service manager didn't even know about the warning lights on when that was one of the original issues. Please beware or this place! Find another Kia Dealer or pick another Make! Not good to get over on customers and I bought my K5 from here, bought another car from their sister dealership Tallassee Automotive. It's a shame you all do this to us!

My 25 year old son bought a Sorrento from these rip-off artists. Not only did they slip in a "Market Upcharge" that they did not disclose, they "Jammed" a $3,600 Vehicle Service Contract without disclosure. After threatening legal action they removed these hidden charges but still charged $1,000 in Dealer Fees. Buyer Beware!!

Unprofessional liars cheats and and they try to commit fraud by adding numbers to your income so they can make a sale and then at the end when you sign a paper you lock yourself in as committing fraud with them.... NOT I have tried to speak to the general manager of Kia can never get a hold of him every time I call I'm always put on hold for 10 minutes at a time very unprofessional Then, after the fact weeks later, I'm getting mail with a Kia, sending off the loan applications that I did not authorize that is drop my credit score down almost 45 points and this is weeks after I went to buy a car from them watch out they'll get you tied up in a legal matter which looks like I'm going that way myself with legal actions

I have been trying to get a warranty issue fixed in the Atlanta area for six months now. I decided to take a drive since we spend so much time in Auburn and give them a call. The service team is top notch and went over and above with getting my car fixed in a very timely manner. I will definitely be back! Enjoy the cookies.

Worst dealership! We had been speaking with a salesperson, Danielle for about a week. When we arrived she knew nothing. She kept having to speak with her manager which I found odd. I had previously sent her pay stubs, personal information etc. so what's going on? You couldn't get any straight answers it was “well we just have to see what the bank can do” or “my managers trying to find a car for you.” Employees were just standing around cursing and smoking completely unprofessional. After about 45 minutes Danielle got done on her cell phone and running to the her “managers” office about ten times with still no clear answers or prices I got up and left. This place feels very much like a scam. Buyers beware.

UPDATED 09/04/2033I am still urging people to be very wary of this dealer. After having my car for several months now, I have felt an update of my previous reviews is appropriate. The car itself has safety issues. The bottom line: You will be wise to shop with another dealer. I would strongly recommend it.UPDATE:After having ample time to review all the documents of my car purchase, I feel even more compelled to strongly suggest another dealer to purchase from. "The devil is in the details," certainly proves true in this case. It's what they don't tell you that matters. That a sale was more important than complete honesty and fairness with a 70 year old man (or anybody for that matter), settles the "deal" with me. Please: compare before you buy from this dealer. You will be glad you did. I signed the papers, but without being fully informed.SAFETY ISSUES;There are at least 2 fire hazard recalls issued for the vehicle I purchased. The first was issued March 4, 2021. The second was issued on September 19, 2022. I purchased the vehicle on December 10, 2022. The sales staff never informed me of these recalls. Neither did they bother to mention possible engine problems with the model I purchased.

Horrible dealership! People are walking around in Kia shirts that do not care anything about the customers. Horrible service, lazy employees huddled up talking/smoking/eating and cursing right in front of us. The young lady who helped me talked about how she came here to get money and go on vacation once a month. Go and somewhere with some due diligence and knowledgeable sales people, cause I tell you one thing Danielle knew nothing she must of ran to the back 10 times eventually I just got up and left. I had been corresponding with her or so I though but upon my arrival she needed everything I had emailed her a week prior which made me a little worried about the confidentiality of my information. She tried to follow me to talk about emailing me possible cars, but as you could probably tell I would never do business with these people. The whole thing felt like a scam.

They are no help !! I had four recalls on my car including engine problem . Haven’t had the car within a year yet . They tried to say it was handled before giving car but hasn’t because the airbag on driver side been off since I got that car and that’s one of the recalls could have lost my life if it came to an accident and for two they wouldn’t cover for engine I had call my warranty company to get an whine for it they got everything and willing to replace the engine . Kia is trying to make me pay 1,000 to tear the engine down which it wasn’t my fault that the cylinder 2 on engine wasn’t my problem I have 15 k left on this car I’m just finna sue the company at this point .

I had a great couple days of talking with a salesman on a stinger GT. Great young man. He told me they could work on the price and my trade in. Then the 3rd day a "sales manager" called and said none of that was true, laughed at me when I repeated what his salesman told me and said I was ridiculous with my estimated trade in when I quoted both NADA and KBB. I was in shock I was treated so poorly when I was hours away from spending almost 60k on a car. I will never do business with the company and would not suggest them to any of my friends. You should be at least treated with respect when you are a potential client.

Sometimes when 2 parties get together to make a deal, sometimes it’s just not in the cards. It is then when you learn the true character of the parties involved. Although we weren’t successful, it wasn’t for a lack effort. I have nothing but praise for Kia of Auburn. From the initial phone call to the return of the vehicle. This organization should be used as an example for a master class on customer service. From the salesperson (Cody) finance manager (Marshell) and general manager (Dayton), these folks are genuine and are of great character. If you’re looking for your vehicle, please give them call or stop by their location.

They left my air box lid undone so that it could suck in all the dirt and debris for the past 6000 miles I didn't realize it till it came time to change my oil this time. When I asked to speak to the manager about it they put me on hold for 40 mins and someone finally picked up and told me the service manager was on a test drive and he would call back. He never did. Not to mention two of my kias have had recall parts ordered for nearly a year. I'm tired of this bad business not going back.

Went in today to see about trading in and to say the least the experience was poor. Started off well, but once the process for trading in started it went down hill.-we didn’t fill any paperwork out or sign any privacy notices.-our truck was appraised and then they ran our credit-not even 10 minutes after running the credit, they hand the keys back to us, said it’s too much vehicle and walked away-we didn’t get an explanation of what that meant. When trying to ask the salesman more questions he just blew me off and said nothing we can do without a co-signer-we asked what our vehicle was appraised for and was ignored-we were never asked if we had a down payment-when my credit report was pulled the salesman came over on his phone and asked me to answer questions to verify my identity. THESE WERE ON HIS CELL PHONE.-we were not given any privacy notice papers or even papers on what our score was. I never even signed a credit application.Once he figured he wouldn’t have made a sale then he just handed the keys and left.I’m greatly disappointed at the sales ethics both this salesman and this dealership follow. This dealership should be reported and I hope the owner sees this. We also witnessed another individual get treated the same way.

Please if I can help only one person not getting taken advantage of!This is a shady/very dishonest dealership, Use google maps and if you have to drive a longer distance it will be worth it.I visited Kia of Auburn several weeks ago because a good buddy of mine is a salesperson there and he's been trying to sell me a car for years. The owner Scott came outside and asked me why I have not bought anything from them.I told him I'm not paying over MSRP on any car no matter the times we are in, Just won't do it.He asked what I was looking for and I told him Kia Niro Hybrid SX, he said I would sell you that car at cost, He just wanted to earn my business.Scott had his sales guy print off the invoice price and said he would sell me the car at cost plus split the $350.00 HOLD BACK. He said this car was scheduled to arrive at his Key West dealership on 3/3/23 and soon as it lands he would have it shipped up to Auburn. We agreed on the amount of $33,686.00 + Tax and no dealer fees just the cost.On 3/4/2023 I reached out to find out if the car came in or not but didn't get a response.I reached back out a few more times and then called the dealership myself to find out if the car arrived.I was told another salesman had a buyer coming to buy it the next day, but if they back out then I can have it. HMMMMMMM Shady right. The people didn't want the car so I was told it's mine by the local Aurburn Kia, but yet no one would answer my messages about where is the car. HMMMMMM Shady.I was a little aggravated that I was told I'm playing backup for a car but never the less, I'll get over that.At this point I think the universe is saying see, I am protecting you again from doing business from Kia of Auburn, but rather than listen to my gut,I sent another message to the Owner Scott , telling him about how we made a deal but the car was shown to others and if they didn't want it it was mine and it's been a week and the car is still in Florida. After telling him how Shady this was in a text , then he finally reply's,His words below." I'm not sure what you are referring too. The Niro was ordered for you (LIE - The Niro was already ordered before we ever met) and it's in route. So I asked for a purchase agreement so there where no hidden surprises or shady business. He said he would have a bill of sale in the morning and as you expected the Next morning came and went no purchase order. Two days later they asked why I haven't come to look at the car and I said No purchase order,, so magically appeared in my text.Another place why this place is shady, None of the numbers match what we agreed on and I will show in the pictures.I will show in the photos how far the numbers are off and they had no intention of doing what they said.Agreed invoice price $33,686.00 - 1/2 hold back $174.00 + $1089.14 tax = $34,601.14What was sent price $34,202.50 + no hold back + Admin fee $649.00 + $1,145.67 (Wrong tax rate ) + $170.00 title Reg ( I would have agreed with this one ) = $36,167.17Difference of $1566.03I just replied back to the text not what we agreed on I'll pass. His reply was "exact price. " WrongThen he called me.I told him I have the screen shots and the numbers in front of me , not what w agreed on and he proceeded to say how he did me a favor, also he had to pay for getting the car up here it cost him $400.00 .. Never once did he say I'm going to have to charge you, he stated he had a car coming into his KeyWest Dealership and would have it brought up here soon as it lands. Also now the car has 820 miles on it because they drove it up not shipped it!I just said I'm not going to argue with you it's not what we talked about and have a nice day.Now he is sending me text like how honest he is and he can't sit on the phone with me and be my pen pal. I'll post the entire text in the screen captures below.I always give people the benefit of the doubt and hope for the best. So anyone that reads Please consider your other options.

David was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and helped me choose the SUV that worked best for my family and my budget. I didn't feel pressured or rushed at all. This was the best experience I've have thus far while purchasing a vehicle

I am not one to go out and write reviews on things, but I needed to give this dealership the props that it deserves. We had a wonderful experience with this dealership, the General Mgr. Dayton and especially our salesman, Eli Spratling. Eli really stepped up to work a miracle and get my son the vehicle he really wanted within his budget. This is my son’s first car purchase on his own. A few days earlier my son purchased another NEW vehicle from another unrelated Kia dealership in Georgia with disastrous results including false advertising, undisclosed and poorly repaired rear end damage that we discovered once we returned home with it and a VIN number that we discovered was marked by Kia corporate as “ previously stolen and recovered and do not sell” !!! Upon this discovery we drove 5 hours back to return the vehicle for a full refund. We then drove to Kia of Auburn where Eli took my son aside and said dude I GOT YOU and took him under his wing and turned a smile back on his face. This guy is an angel in disguise. We are so beyond appreciative! He is so personable and caring and that is why he is salesman of the year and salesman of the month over and over. He definitely earns it!
