I went into this store on Wednesday May 8, 2024 about 5:00pm. I found what I needed and headed to the register. As I almost to the register, a lady said "I can get you on #2". I looked and it was a self checkout. There was a monitor pulled over to block interaction with clerk and customer and a paper sign on back of monitor that said "This is not a self checkout". So I stood there for second and looked at the girl. I then realized she was just going to stand there and watch me. I said "well I see your sign there that says 'this is not a self checkout' so I was just wondering, but I guess I'm supposed to do it myself. First thought was, why is she even standing here, I'm doing her job! Was she watching me to see if I was going to not scan something?? Really?? You're job is monitor me??!! Oh no, this will be the last time I go into this store!! FIRST OF ALL, IF IT'S A SELF CHECKOUT, THEN IT'S SELF CHECKOUT! I WILL NOT HAVE ANYONE MONITOR ME OR ASK FOR MY RECEIPT WHEN I'M DOING THEIR DAMN JOB! WE HAVE BECOME THE MOST LAZIEST SELF-ENTITLED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!

I stop here on my commute to work in the mornings, store is never open on time. Boxes every where. Smells like garbage. Rude employees. There is CONSTANTLY very young children being pushed around in carts by THE EMPLOYEES. Why are these children here?? Isn’t this a safety hazard for them?? Ridiculous store. I pray they get a manager who cares because the one with purple hair could give two craps about this place.

Went in there the other day the store was an absolute disaster so many boxes on the floor ended up tripping and falling over a box. went to looked for the manager and was told “she likes to leave early and is never here” don’t recommend this store what so ever probably the worst dollar general ever.

On the door the hours say 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. everyday. It's 8:43 p.m. right now and the doors are locked, no one is in sight. I came 30 minutes ago and came back because maybe it's one employee and they needed to use the bathroom. The doors are still locked

This used to be a really clean, well stocked store with a very, very, kind helpful manager Okimi. Now I go to Walmart because the store never has anything I need.
