This place is hit or miss. Sometimes you'll speak with pleasant employees who sound like they care and other times you'll talk to workers who sound annoyed and only want to pass you off to the next person over the phone. This place is conveniently close to campus but it isn't worth the wait times and unpleasant workers. I was disconnected over the phone after being switched from person to person, trying to make an earlier appointment for severe symptoms. It's like this place knows they're the most convenient option for students on campus and doesn't care about patient satisfaction as a result, they have no accountability.

The health clinic at Auburn wants to care of everybody that comes in. Having been a few times, I've seen how much they care and the depth knowledge they have. The lobby is accessible with check-in tablets that include other languages. The doctor's are thorough and want to give the best care possible. If something gets messed up, i.e. referral or lab work, they make sure it's corrected. This ain't McDonalds. They're busy. Sometimes there is a wait. The phones are probably broken because they took (with exaggeration) thousands of phone calls a day to schedule test and vaccines.

I've been going here for 7 years and I'm highly satisfied. The doctors and nurse practitioners take their time with me and have helped me with several issues. I'm giving 4 stars because the only time I've felt rushed and not well cared for was during an GYN visit. For regular health care needs, I give them 5 stars.

Do NOT GO HERE UNLESS IS YOUR LAST RESORT FOR A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION!!! Best of luck to get any of your records to follow up with a REAL doctor once you check out... i defy you to get your records post discharge!!!! GOD FORBID you are stuck there in between shifts.... this place should be shut down.

I called to get a hold lifted from my student account for a bill that I had already paid. I explained the situation and politely asked what I needed to do to get the hold lifted. The individual that I spoke with was extremely rude and short with me for no reason, and she said that I would need to email her a copy of my receipt before she would lift the hold. When I tried to email Anita Torrance, it said that the message was undeliverable and that her email address didn't exist. I called back a few days later and spoke with someone else. They were very helpful, apologized, and lifted the hold over the phone.

Every time that I have to go to the medical clinic, I am always apprehensive. I am never satisfied with the care I receive when I go. The staff is consistently rude and uncaring. As a student of Auburn University, I expected a lot more of this medical facility. The place is clean, but when I got sick with flu symptoms, they swabbed me and said the result was negative. They then prescribed me antibiotics and never diagnosed me with anything. I am assuming it was a sinus infection, but I was never confirmed on this. When I am describing such debilitating symptoms, at least have some empathy. If you are ever sick, I would highly recommend going to an urgent care instead. However, whenever I have to get lab work done, the lady is always extremely nice and informing. This is the only reason why I still go to the Auburn University Medical Clinic and why I am giving it a star.

I am a student at Auburn and the Med Clinic disappoints me. The workers have constantly been rude and annoyed whenever talking to patients, and couldn't care less about a patient not feeling well. They also just give you cough medicine or say your symptoms are allergies and "prescribe" you over the counter medicine you could buy at a store. I have been sick the past month, and it surely doesn't help coming to a clinic we are supposed to trust in who who doesn't know what they're doing/ doesn't truly worry about helping someone sick get better.

Great pharmacy, they have worked really hard at finding me the best price for my medications. My only complaint is that I have not gotten the proper number of pills dispensed on multiple occasions. Seems like the students may need more oversight.
