BEWARE. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!! The most unprofessional and incompetent staff you will ever encounter. Pretends not to receive emails so they do not have to make decisions. Expect unwarranted fees and charges for repairs caused by their incompetent maintenance staff. Total dump!

If I could give negative review I would! Total dump! Carpet was nasty when they moved in, lived there 2 years, had a roof leak that went unfixed for weeks resulting in significant mold and mildew and then had nerve to charge for new carpet . I sent numerous emails detailing this and they pretended to never get them. "Remarkable"! Threatened to send to collections if we didn't pay. Total incompetent staff! Beware! You will regret if you have your kid live here.

Unfortunately I cannot give this place negative stars. They start off by showing college students a nice clean apartment and then provide them with a much worse unit you you move in. things around the place will break constantly and maintenance will not show up for weeks. The front office is impossible to contact about any issue. I lived here for 2 years and the carpet that was trashed since the day I moved in was not replaced and then upon moving out I was charged for its replacement. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT LIVE HERE.

I do not recommend this apartment complex at all. Parents of college students should beware. When we moved in, the unit was dirty. The ac unit was leaking and had been leaking for a while as my daughters carpet was soaking wet and there was black mold all over the walls of her closet. Their response was to come spray bleach all over the walls and leave a fan. If you do choose to live here, make sure to take a video on move in of everything including stairs and all common areas. Then take a video of everything on moving out. The carpet on the stairs was thin on move in but we neglected to notate it. First mistake. After moving out the carpet looked the same but once again did not video it. They took part of my deposit to pay to have the carpet replaced on the stairs so video everything. Lastly, please know that when you sign your lease, you agree that $100 of your deposit will be forfeited for painting, cleaning, etc on move out no matter the condition you leave the apartment. If we had known that we would not have cleaned as good as we did on move out. That is not a deposit, it is a fee and should be stated as such. Things they do are deceptive and not a great experience for us.

There wasn't one big issue but a lot of little things that got under my skin. My daughter and her roommates repeatedly submitted maintenance requests for the dryer. It would take several cycles to dry. As for as I know, it was never fixed. The renters insurance changed mid-year and at one time I was paying two renters insurance. Took awhile to straighten out. Lots of upfront "Administrative fees" and even more moving out. ($300 to get lease transferred to another student. Really?) Still waiting on our deposit and fully expect a lame reason why its not the full deposit. And your point of contact is a college student getting paid minimum wage with little or no training.

First, faults can be found anywhere. As a tenant my family or I could post those, but almost every issue we have had over the past year has been dealt with quickly. My BIGGEST complaint that I would bring up publicly is the issue with "gated" security. It seems like Creekside has repaired/replaced the arm for the gate 8 times over the last year. My suggestion, post a sign stating the property is under surveillance, and install security cameras or trail cams in strategic locations. Without a sign the footage may be inadmissible in court, but with the sign it could possibly deter the crime, or with cameras bring the culprits to justice.

I’m only living here for the summer. I like the location and amenities such as tennis courts, volleyball court, and the swimming pool. The bad part is at night there are so many cockroaches on the streets. I haven’t seen one in the unit yet but so many in the parking lot and side walks. Can you guys please do something about it? Like one flew and got on my dad’s pants while getting out of the car. I don’t know if this is normal in the south since I’m from Michigan but ugh it’s so disgusting seeing how many there are.

This neighborhood has many buildings that you can live in. Other than that, it has the exact same amenities as any other student housing complex in auburn, including neighbors and wifi that ranges from bad to mediocre. Also, they close the back gate at random times, for random durations, and without notice. It’s not a great feeling when you live in the back of the neighborhood and suddenly have to drive an extra lap to the (always open until there are 30 cars backed up down Dekalb st) front gate, just so the owners can add an extra charge for being a “gated community.” Thankfully, though, local booze cruisers are plentiful enough that it usually gets smashed within a few days of closing it, and people can use that entrance like they normally do

My daughter is an AU student and has resided at Creekside for almost three years. I visit her as often as once a week. The grounds are always perfectly kept, the three tiered pool is beautiful and every, single encounter I have had with any staff there has been positive. The pool security officer always goes out of his way to be friendly and to help, especially when I bring my two year old grandson to swim. It is an excellent place to live and I would recommend it to anyone.

Move in day was the biggest disaster and that was just the start. Students still do not have a/c or hot water, refrigerator shelves TAPED IN, carpets filthy and bugs everywhere inside, just to name a few things that haven't been addressed by mgmt for weeks. They do NOT care because they know some unsuspecting family will just pay to move their student in next year. The office should be expecting calls from the Heakth Department and the AG office.
