Very nice atmosphere and service was good…..Ordered scallops which were warm and very bland. My husband ordered Spinach dinner salad, which was very sparse and tasteless. We ordered desert which was supposed to have been tiramisu but was actually cheesecake with chocolate and coffee liquor. We were disappointed with the overall meal. We will not return. Food was over rated.

We sat on the "indoor porch" for lunch. It's a little loud in there because of the tight space and echo. The only reason I am giving four stars for atmosphere. The food is excellent, try the cornbread, you won't be disappointed.

As always, outstanding food and great service. Oysters were top notch, the chicken fried bacon decadent, and the cornbread was one of the best I've ever tasted. Highly recommend.

Hostesses came across very grumpy, made us wait almost an hour with tables open, we even could have booked a table online as some tables were open, decided to see how long Hostesses would make us wait, bartender saw us sitting down waiting and sat us with him, food was excellent, service was great and the drinks were fantastic!

Air conditioning way too cold. Had to keep jackets on.Recommended fried green tomatoes were spot on, served hot and crispy. They ruined it by placing tomatoes over a cold salty pimento spread.I chose the lobster tails special. Three tails served on a plate over crispy marinated brussel sprouts. One tail was excellently served tempura style. The other two were served with the same teriyaki sauce the brussel sprouts were in . Did not pair well. The served steaks were fork tender. A pork sirloin was also served which was also very good.Portions were ample.Alcohol beverage was a very light pour.

2/24/24, we ordered the porterhouse and short rib. The porterhouse was dry an over cooked with no flavor. The short ribs pasta was under cooked and still brittle. I complained to the waitress about the sub par food. She replied, I can get them to make you a hamburger in a sarcastic tone. Never once offered to get a manager or make things right. Completely dissatisfied! The food was atrocious and service rude for an supposedly up scale establishment. I recommend that choose at different restaurant if you are looking for nice dinning.

Did the valentine dinner on Feb 13 and the fact that we had to share one entree when we each had our own appetizer is egregious. The portions are ridiculous. My partner and I were still hungry by the end of it.

Acre is my favorite place to enjoy food or beverages in all of the Auburn/Opelika area. The service is top notch. It's apparent that the staff is well trained and actually want to work here. The food is top notch. I love the boudin balls! When I'm just in the mood for a drink, the bartenders never disappoint. Drinks and service at the bar make the day brighter. I come often, and am considered a regular here. I foresee eating and drinking here as long as I live within an hour of this place. It is more than worth it.Parking: The parking lot is tight, but I rarely have trouble parking here. I guess I know the best times to show up :)Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible by wheelchair.

Wonderful ambiance, food, and service... a definite must visit when you are in Auburn! If it is raw oyster season, make sure to try them with the mignoinette.

My wife and daughter had the chicken Cesar salad and loved it. I had the chicken pot pie and it was only ok.

Love it every time. The food definitely justifies the price, I just wish the serving sizes were larger. Brunch is my favorite here, the mimosa options were great too.

I have been to Acre plenty of times, the food is always great, the drinks are the best, and the service is superior. Last night I brought my boyfriend there for his birthday dinner. We waited no more than 8 minutes for consummate Cody to come by our table and apologize for the wait, which wasn’t even long at all, but we were grateful for his acknowledgment of it. Cody was so kind, so knowledgeable, and ended up not charging me for my drink because of the wait which he didn’t have to do, but that is the standard that Acre holds themselves to. When our food came, I truly loved it, but my boyfriend didn’t care for the taste of the sauce with his steak so he didn’t eat it. Being a former server myself I was a little taken aback, and slightly embarrassed that we’d have to explain why he didn’t like it. Cody came by and asked him what it was that he didn’t care for, was grateful for the feedback, and removed the meal from our bill which he didn’t have to do at all. Because they take such pride in what they do, who they are, and their guest experience the manager came out to chat with us because he genuinely cared and wanted my boyfriend to be happy. Later, they gave us a peanut butter pie to share and end the night on a sweet note.Having said all that, I cannot be more grateful for Cody, the wonderful manager (whose name has unfortunately left me), and the rest of the always wonderful staff at this immeasurably matchless restaurant. Thank you all for going above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent experience last night. I apologize for being that difficult couple, but you all never once made me feel uncomfortable or awkward when the situation was going on. You all truly handled things with grace and respect that made me feel you truly valued and appreciated our feedback. It is for this reason that I have always and will continue to sing Acre’s praises for their dedication to extraordinary service and quality that David Bancroft and the team have shown at Acre and Bow and Arrow!Thank you all so much for your kindness, and thank you, Cody for making our night truly special.
