Super easy to work with, very friendly and up front truthful. Very appreciated! Not your sterotypical auto repair place for sure!

Though my car was done quick I have a few complaints. I reached out to my insurance company who connected me to sides and have yet to hear back from them still. My car went in and came out with a ton of new scratches and my back right passenger window does not go down. Granted the door had to be replaced because I was hit there but still the window doesn’t go down! The first picture is my car the DAY it went in and the second picture is my car the day my boyfriend picked it up. The third picture is that back window that had no damage previously just the door. When he made a comment about them he was told I said the scratches were there so he left with the car since I was working. Disappointing but glad I got my car back.

Had my car repaired here last week, from a wreck I was In last month. Car had minimal damage, but I did end up needing my rear bumper replaced. They answered all my questions and were very patient with me, including giving me very reasonable time frame as to how long they would have my car. They definitely held up true to their word on how long they would have it. They were very quick getting it completed, but did a fantastic job on my car. Didn’t even have my rental for a full week, and they were done with my car. My car looks excellent, and can’t even tell it had been in a wreck. They did a great job!

I wish my experience with this location was not so negative, but unfortunately it was. My original date of completion was expected to be the end of October 2023, but after speaking with Daniel (the progressive representative) and being led to believe that my vehicle would be ready by 18 August 2023, I spent $600 to fly over 1,000 miles and pick it up. During that week I was told that it would in fact not be finished by 18 August, but that they “felt confident” saying it would be done by the following Friday. 25 August 2023 arrived, and the vehicle was still not finished due to a missing part which they claimed was on back-order and unavailable at any nearby dealerships. However, whenever I took the initiative to call and inquire… I was able to find the part at a location less than 2hrs away from the shop. I was told they could not go get it until the next week and having it delivered would result in the same wait. So I chose to rent a vehicle (out of pocket) and drive to get the part on my own. They refused to waive my deductible despite all of this, with the knowledge that what was originally supposed to be a 5-day trip worth $1k, wound up being a 3-week trip that cost over $5k. On top of that, not even a full 5 minutes after I began driving the vehicle, parts fell off of my rear-view mirror that were entirely intact even when the damage had been done to my car that put it in the shop to begin with.Obviously a lot of this comes down to circumstances that wound up being outside of anyone’s control, but at the end of the day if you are not certain a car will be completed and you know a customer is traveling that amount of distance… it is extremely unprofessional to lead them to believe it will be and refuse to compensate them considering the resulting financial hardships.Services: Tires

Highly Recommend! Thank you Trey! I have never needed bodywork, and Sides was recommended by a friend. Trey was very knowledgeable and walked me through the entire insurance claim process. If you don’t normally get into accidents, and you are unfamiliar with body work, I highly recommend Sides. I had no idea what I was doing, but Trey made me feel at ease. I wish everything else after an accident was this easy!

I have an 01' F250 truck that had been accidentally hit while parked. It's an older truck but still means the absolute world to me. I didn't have a rental car available, and Sides did work to get the truck completed as soon as possible. They color matched perfectly with the two-tone, and the pinstriping was fantastic. The rear quarter panel and bumper looks brand new. I'm very appreciative of their work!

I experienced exceptional customer service when I had to carry my Nissan Altima in after a tree limb had fallen through the back glass of my car. Daniel was so helpful in getting my quote together and explaining all the next steps. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.Service: Body & Trim

Great repair and reasonable cost on new Toyota Highlander front bumper and door. Daniel did a great job of getting us in and out around our schedule, even staying late so we could pick it up after work. Hope that I don't have to, but would definitely use them again! Thanks Daniel for making it easy!Services: Painting

Sides Body East repaired my car, through Progressive Insurance, from 7/25-8/18/23. I had to wait from 7/01/23 to get it into the body shop, which was less time than all the other body shops (2-4 months). The accident did about $6,000 in damages to the hood, front bumper and left corner. When I got my 2008 Honda CR-V back, I was satisfied with the paint and body repair work on my CR-V. You could not tell the CR-V had been wrecked. We will see how well the paint holds up, and if the body repairs work and A/C repairs have any problems in time. The reason I gave Sides Body East a 3 Star rating is for the POOR to NON-EXISTENT communication to keep me informed on the status/progress of my CR-V’s repairs. In the beginning Daniel, coordinator of repairs, told me he would call when they started painting my CR-V. He did not. I had to call Daniel to get any information on the status/progress of my CR-V throughout the entire process. Near the end, he was waiting on one part to arrive and quickly snap it on. I called and was told that it was to arrive on Friday, then Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. You would think they had tracking on their shipments and would know when parts were going to arrive. Of course I had a rental car, and neither I nor Progressive Insurance ever knew when I would be returning it as a result. I could not make plans/arrangements to be dropped off at Sides Auto Body to get my CR-V because they could never tell me when the part was arriving and when the CR-V would be ready. On Friday when I called Angela did not know if the part was “in”, Trey talked to me and said the next shipment would arrive at 4:30 pm that day with them closing at 5:00 PM. This would mean I would be without my CR-V and in the rental car another weekend. Trey asked me if I wanted him to check and see if the part was “in?” Of course I did. That is why I called. He checked and called me back 20 minutes later to tell me it had come in, he had installed it, and my CR-V was ready to go. Finally on 8/18/23, I got my CR-V back after making several calls to check on the status/progress during my CR-V’s 3 ½ week stay with them.ALL of the other body shops I tried to get my car into had 5 Star ratings for their high quality workmanship. They PRIDED themselves on keeping their customers updated on a frequent and regular basis via texts and/or phone calls. The reviews raved about this fact. Perhaps this is why I would have waited 2-4 months to get my CR-V into their body shops, and only 2 weeks to get work started at Sides Auto Body (POOR communications!).I would not recommend Sides Auto Body because Daniel, coordinator of repairs, does not do his job and keep the customer informed on the status/progress of their vehicle at all!UPDATE: Immediately upon posting this review, I received a call from Daniel, Sides Auto Body East coordinator of repairs, threatening me with a lawsuit for using his name in my review and accusing him of not doing his job. In addition, he said the owner said they would not repair my car in the future. Apparently, they didn’t read this review. I don’t recommend Sides Auto Body East and would not return to their business for any future repairs.Services: Painting

High quality of work! Will not stop until you are content with your repair. They buffed out the clear coat based on defects the owner found during my final walk through. Who does that? They care and it shows. 2nd car I had them repair now. I’m a repeat customer!Services: Painting
