“I can't believe that I've never reviewed this Publix. Of any grocery store in the world, this one gets my five stars. Yes-their prices are higher than some of their competition. However, if, for no other reason in the world... in the weeks following April 27, 2011, the store was open, staffed, and fully stocked, and fully functional. The staff's attitude was like Disney World kind of happy. The hot food was even going and they were offering samples, genuinely wanting to help people in need. I never experienced so much joy as the walk-through, a grocery store with air conditioning, lights, and all the staples in essentials that you could dream of. A lot of infrastructure was gone in that timeframe, and I can't remember the details-only that payment wasn't an issue at Publix, either. In that time anything within 50 miles was a cash society because so much infrastructure was gone. Five Stars Publix!Modern visits have been good experiences as well. I can't afford to always shop, but it always a positive experience when I can, and you can always stop here for things that you can't seem to find in the same brand, quantity, or quality.”
