“This was a great place to stop over while traveling! This is how I rate a motel in order of importance. (1) No Bugs..✔️ (2) Cleanliness..✔️ (3) working amenities that your paying the price for..✔️ (4) Friendliness.. ✔️. They passed all the tests. Morning breakfast was Very, Very, good and hot. No bacon, but plenty of hot sausage. Thank you and great job goes out to Ashlee and Daniel. Super friendly and helpful on Saturday 10/25/24. Also a Thank you to the young man who checked us in on the early 2am shift of 10/25/24. Sorry dude we didn't get your name, but you gave us some very good, helpful info last night! “Rooms: Room was clean. The beds were very firm, and uncomfortable.
Breakfast left much to be desired. Sausage patties were cold to barely run temp. Gravy was watery, and biscuits were hard. The make your own waffle was probably the best choice.
Check in and check out were easy and friendly.”

“Was very happy with the rooms and the breakfast along with those cleaning and restocking the breakfast area. The majority of the experience was great.
However, one bad apple can spoil a perfect rating. After packing belongings into the car, I headed back inside only to be cut in front of by the older lady with the electric blue hair at the front desk. She was in such a rush that she crossed within 6 inches infront of me from behind me as I was entering the sliding doors at the entry to go to breakfast and she headed to the front desk. Perhaps she was late getting back from her break outside. As I was leaving the breakfast area to get coffee, a man politely asked if she could get the milk refilled as they were out. Ol' blue-haired lady lady curtly told him that was not her job so, no, she could not. Even though this lady works in Hospitality, she was not hospitable in either cases. The other guests were so much more hospitable than she was being paid to be. She could have said she would contact someone who could replace the milk or apologized for cutting me off or BOTH. But blue-haired lady could not have appeared to be more inconvenienced by the guests of this Hilton brand hotel. She is a disgrace to the Hilton brand and Hampton Inn in Athens, AL. I sincerely hope to never encounter her again.”

“My husband and I had to make a trip to Athens for my sister's funeral. We stayed 2 nights. The lady at the desk was very nice and informative. Our room was nice and the heater worked great! There were some stains on the bathroom floor, behind the door that was questionable and it was dirty on the baseboard in the corner by the tub, but the beds were pretty comfy and it met our basic needs. Thank you econo lodge for great prices and great location!!”
