There is a man named Marvin there that literally went above and beyond!! Not only did he help me with my purchase, but he had such a great, positive, upbeat attitude!!! I have never been treated so kindly!! I walked in rushing and not feeling great and that man turned my hole day around!!!!! He definitely deserves a raise!!!!

I don't know how this store keeps from getting ripped off or maybe it does. There is hardly anyone at the register and me another customers have go in the back and try and find someone. This has happened on several occasions. Also store is not shoppable, they have racks and racks blocking the isles. It only seems to be a problem at this location. I only stop in there out of convenience.

Cashier closed the store early and was very rude to incoming customers, while telling them they had so many minutes left in a rude tone to shop. She refused to bad my items and said they did not fit in the bag. She also asked a trucker why did he come so late and that she was doing to turn him around all because she decided to close the store early.

Went to this dollar general and hurried before 6:00 ( closing early short staffed)I got there at 5:33 the cashier was at the door turning everyone away!! Saying if I was going to take more than 5 minutes then I needed to leave!!! I told her you close at 6:00 it was 5:30 she told me to leave. I told her I will and I will NEVER be back! She replied,” bye” and waved! For the time it took her STANDING in the doorway blocking it we could of all went in and been out!! Bad employee!! I got there the other day at 5:30 it was closed she must have been working that day to. Sign says 6:00 pm!! Not a lot of stores to go to in this area! ??

They have and issue with insufficient staffing. There are times when they have had to close early or they don't open at all. I've heard the issue is keeping managers there. I suggest going to the Mooresville Road location.

I want to send a huge huge shout out to Elizabeth @ the dollar general located @15297 hwy 72 Athens, Al not only for her patients with me be her giving heart ❤️! Elizabeth your blessing will return to you 10 fold! Thanks a million, Rainbow Smith I had neck surgery the 30th and I am forever grateful for this young lady! The guy tho you need to work with boxes you have 0 compassion!

Well it's convienant to be able to get cash back at a small store that's usually not crowded so there isn't an issue with the insanity of social distancing
