Woodrow Dougherty was to do simple work on a deck. He **** *** **** and prolonged doing things properly. I live in Florida and was waiting until I move to Alabama before I file a lawsuit and criminal charges. I have text message documentation where he admitted to ***** and admitted to not finishing the job. He has plenty of excuses, but the bottom line is that he is a l*** and does not do the work he was hired to do. Being paid money and not doing the work has its consequences. I will update this review if he makes arrangements to repay me.

I hired this business to do a quality carpet install, not perfect, just quality. I wish I had checked the reviews before I gave him my money. Needless to say the job is incomplete. I've requested a refund for only half my money.it has been excuse after excuse for past 3 days and He has since stopped responding. He is indeed a scammer.

hired for a quality carpet install. took my baseboards off. laid out the padding and carpet and nothing else. I paid him the agreed upon amount of $500 so that he could get things to properly install. He bought rug tape left my carpet unfinished and now won't return calls or answer messages. save yourself a headache and find someone more reliable. I have been scammed and I'm not the only one. don't be fooled my the nice manners, it's all an act

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HIRE!! My 70 year old parents were doing their own home renovations but my father got very sick and had been in the hospital for over a month. I hired Mr. Dougherty to finish the bedroom, storage room and kitchen. He seemed very kind and even offered my parents a discount. Once we paid the deposit, things changed. He only showed up 3 days in 3 weeks. I begged him to at least finish the bedroom so my father would have a place to sleep but it made no difference. When my father came home from the hospital, the bedroom was completely unusable and he had to sleep on the COUCH for over TWO WEEKS!!! After I fired Mr. Dougherty, he demanded we pay what amounted to the full amount of the estimate but said it was for materials and his subcontractor. When I asked for receipts, I got a pile of receipts that didn't even contain items used on this job. He then threatened that if we didn't pay, he would place a lien on my parent's property. I trusted Mr. Dougherty because he said that he was a member of the Association of Certified Handyman Professionals. When I called them to complain, I found out that he's not even registered with them. My parent's have been completely distraught over this experience, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. My family and I spent last weekend finishing the bedroom so my father could have a place to sleep (see attached photo). Pathetic!!! DO NOT HIRE!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Daugherty was very professional and courteous to our needs. When it came to what we wanted done and how we wanted doing it he was outstanding I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any of my family and friends and I'll definitely be using them again.Service: Install flooring

Paid thousands for multiple jobs up front which to date have never been finished. No show when he said he would be there, multiple excuses and blamed day labor employees for missing/stolen materials. No refunds. Buyer Beware.

Do not pay in advance. Start dates kept changing. We had to contact him when he didn't show up . Still have not gotten refund for materials. If you decide to use check with local business for references. Also get material list and buy materials yourself.

Would not recommend!!!! Nothing but a scammer. Takes the money didn't get all the supplies he was suppose to . Job still isn't done!! Now we have to pay someone else to do the job.
