I have used Westside Veterinary Hospital for many many years with all of my pets that I have had. They are all great people and do a wonderful job taking care of my current dog, Benji. We especially love Dr. Lauren and Dr. Tom Ellenburg!!

Dr Dixie Mahan is the best! My dog is 9 years old, I started going to her about 3 years ago and she has by far been the best vet for my babies. Support staff is fantastic, very friendly, and welcoming! Doctor takes the time with the pets and families to ensure everything is being taken care of. Can not say enough good things about this practice. Hands down best vet office.

Dr Ellenburg was fantastic and so was his tech (unsure of her name but she was blonde)! They were gentle and kind with Stan. Definitely would recommend to anyone!!

I drive from Athens down to Arab because they are so awesome. I've used Westside for about 20 years, I prefer Andy Wilks.. just because... It's like a good hairdresser or doctor once you find a good one you stick with them.
I respect the fact that he's blunt and honest while being considerate of your personal feelings.

The clinic is great. I would not take my pet anywhere else. If you don't have a Vet or are considering changing yours, do yourself a favor and at least give them a chance. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

By far the best vets around! Intelligent, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, compassionate, patient, fast, informative, caring. Westside is second to NONE!! Every vet there is outstanding. Our rescue vet is Dr Lauren. She's helped us with so many cats and kittens from dog bite injuries, wolf worm in a cars face, her dad did surgery for a cat with two severe hernias, kitten in critical condition, broken bones, bacterial infections, eye removal surgeries, other eye surgeries, countless spay & Neuter surgeries, and endless URI. Every single visit is filled with true compassion & desire to get these animals healthy and happy. They surpass 5 stars ? if I could give them a million I would. If you're looking for a great outstanding vet who cares about your pets, Westside is the ONLY option. I've visited other vets and they don't even compare. Not to mention the cost is reasonable, especially compared to other vets. Hands down the BEST!

Love love love the vets at Westside. Over the last nearly 20 years, we’ve had 3 pets with them, at least 1 at all times, and they’ve been great to work with, and to care for our pets into their senior years.

Great place. Started coming here in 1989 amd saw the place grow. Vets are great and staff is friendly and helpful. Very sympathetic when a pet passes on. They would come out to my place and give my dozen or so "kids" their annual shots. I highly recommend the Hospital.
