I'm new to the area and I've been vet-shopping for my dachshund "daughter." No where has felt right...til now. From minute 1 they were special, from the receptionist on. I'd do 11 stars if I could. (Prices weren't cheap, but well worth it.)

My cat started having seizures and when we called we were told I could drop the cat off at 2pm, I had to leave for work shortly after, and my wife could pick him up when she got off about an hour later. Even getting my wife’s number so the dr could call her and inform her of diagnosis or a different pick up time etc etc. Upon arrival the completely rude older lady at the desk not so kindly informed me that whoever we had talked to 30 mins earlier was a liar and that I would have to stay with the cat, period. Business must be booming when you can lie and turn customers and animals in need away at the door, AFTER they were the ones who told us to bring him and drop him off. 1 star business with no heart!

Dr Long is the best vet in this area bar none. He has taken care of my crew for years. He loves animals and he also realizes he is not a Doctor. His words not mine. He knows there are Vets in our area that think they should be paid and revered as a real Doctor. But in my book Dr. Long is the most caring and qualified of all the Vets in the Anniston area.

Just found out Dr. Long passed away. He was a wonderful person and was so good with the animals he treated. He has treated almost every animal I have had ,since I was kid, in some way or another. Going to really miss him?

Staff members are caring and extremely personable. Took great care of my furbabyand the cost of treatment was surprisingly low, especially compared to other veterinary clinics I have used in the past. My kids have a new doctor!
