Gray Brown has always been trusted with my family's burials and services. They go above and beyond and they do their best to keep you stress free. For instance, I had a Paul bearer not show up and without question, a director stepped in and helped. They were very understanding through my anger and sadness I expressed and also without question allowing me to do my moms Hair and make up myself. Their facility is beautiful but if anything at all I would have new carpets for the walking areas for them but their service rooms and chapel is just very beautiful. They take care of the flowers very well for you and never tried to talk us into anything. All Options were always layed out and they added a 4th song even for me when our package included 3 songs. They care. I will continue to use them for all my family. I'd like a special thank you to a part of your staff known as Mr Martin who was with us the whole time throughout our loss in the services and did a fine job at getting it all together for us. He had to put up with me and how distraught I was and that takes an angel and a miracle worker. I lost my mom, sister, provider, caretaker, and best friend all in one when I lost my mom. I was a mess.

After leaving my name and number, i received a call from Gray Brown within a few minutes. My husband's preference was cremation so they transported him from the hospital to the mortuary. The staff was patient and very helpful with providing me with all the details I needed. A service was not requested so completing the paperwork only took 30 minutes. It was a blessing to rely on them to take care of the details.

Marisa Friar and the entire staff at Gray-Briwn were so kind and compassionate in helping plan our Dad’s funeral. We were very comfortable with Marisa from the very first phone call. She made a difficult process easier to bare as arrangements were made. She helped to make my Dad’s funeral personal for our family. Marisa is a kind, compassionate and empathetic funeral director. Martin and the rest of the Gray Brown staff were great at the cemetery and ensured that the service went as planned. Thank you Marisa, Martin and the entire staff! You were a blessing to our family!

This past Sunday, January 22nd, I, along with many family members and friends attended my Mother's Funeral Services at Gray Brown Funeral Home, in Anniston. A very nice service, several family members helped move my Mother's coffin to the Hearse and we followed it to the final resting place at Forrest Lawn Cemetery. On arrival found that my mother's grave was not prepared and that no one at the Cemetery was ready for this burial. The Hearse turned around and headed back to the funeral home while all the family stood around my father's grave site trying to understand what just happened. Come to find out that Gray Brown Funeral home and Forrest Lawn Cemetery did not communicate with each other to confirm all was set. Forrest Lawn Cemetery had written down the wrong Date, for the following Sunday. After many "I'm Sorry", from Forrest Lawn they scheduled the burial the next day Monday at 11am. Only a few of the Family & Friends could return, as they were from all over, West Virginia, Kentucky, Texas, Georgia, Canada , Muscle Sholes, Arab, Decatur, Huntsville and many local that could not return for the new scheduled grave side service. As of Thursday January 26th, our Mother's & Father grave marker is still not in place as it was removed for the burial for our Mother. Needless to say this avalanched on to an already sad day and should have never happened to our family or to any other family in the future.
