“For the most part our visit to Rupp Arena was great. We did our homework prior to the event to be certain we knew the venue's requirements to take in a medical bag. There was a situation upon entry with our bags that caused some confusion but once we asked to speak with the right person it was quickly and easily resolved. Be sure you understand the venue's policies so you can get the right person to assist you upon arrival because not all of the employees are aware of how to handle every guest's needs. The first few employees we encountered were very uncooperative but we calmly insisted on seeking a guest relations specialist who was prepared to assist us and it was all cleared up within minutes. As much as the arena may try to be certain that every employee is equiped to assist every guest and their needs there are always a few who may not be. With patience and persistence you will find those who are. Once we got everything worked out and got inside for the event we found that the rest of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Moving through the arena is pretty simple. It's clean, efficient and most of the staff is terrific. Once we got through the red tape we had a great experience at Rupp.”
