“My girlfriend and I were in the process of moving and were towing a U-Haul trailer when the bushing allowing my transmission to be shifted into gear broke. Calling around to several local shops and dealerships to see if they could fix it as quickly as we were stuck midway between Georgia and Huntsville with a load of belongings no one except Fosters said they would be able to check it for us immediately. After getting the truck into gear by crawling under the vehicle to engage the transmission we drove straight to the shop. The owner, Matt, and Todd called around and located the part for us and within 2 hours we were back on the road. Considering our situation and our need to get back on the road quickly he could have taken advantage of us but charged a fair price.Too bad service like this is hard to find. The people of Alexander City are blessed to have a repair shop who not only charges a fair price but goes the extra mile to fix a problem.I only wish I could give more than 5 stars because Matt and his team are not only great mechanics but also great people.”
