PLEASE BE AWARE!Price of gas is higher if you pay with card.This is the first time I've ever gone to a service station that charges 30 cents more if you pay with a card, rather than cash.However, I will give two stars to the cashier that was really nice trying to explain this to me.

I am obviously a devotee of warehouse club gas stations. Wasn't going to be near one, so I thought I would be slick and use my 18¢/gallon discount using the Fuel Rewards App. Partly my fault because I'm not familiar with other stations. So I find the closest one. Sign shows 2 prices, I assume it's for regular and premium. Ugh--it's also 8¢ higher than a lot of local places, and higher than the last price report from earlier in the day on Gas Buddy. Fine--still winning. Except after I figure out how to redeem my discount and stick in my credit card, it's 10¢ more/gal for credit. Stations still do that? (I checked Gas Buddy, and it looks like most in my area do not charge different prices for cash or credit.) So by the time I pay the idiot tax, I paid exactly what I could have gotten at other stations, and 2¢ more than the Walmart Market Murphy I passed to get there. So much for 18¢ discount. Great rewards, huh? Could have gotten a better deal even just by picking one of the other Shell stations within a 2-3 miles radius that don't charge extra for credit. No longer winning.

Fast and friendly cashiers.. great customer service and a very clean store. Shell's prices are just a little bit higher but it's worth it IMO.

Consistently one of the highest priced stations in Alabaster. Whenever I have gone inside to pay with cash, I am usually told that the reward card system is down.
