Imagine this…..you’re 400 miles into a 600 mile drive to drop your son off at college. Your wife, son, dog and countless stuff is crammed into your car. All of a sudden, your car starts having a serious issue. Worst timing possible! You pull up Maps and take your chance with the closest repair shop and pull in unannounced. What was our extraordinary bad luck with the car, turned into amazingly good luck as the repair shop we rolled into was Jason’s! Best service experience I’ve ever had. He got us taken care of and saved the day. I only wish he was local to where I live. He’d be the only place I’d ever bring my cars. If you’re fortunate enough to be local to him, he’s who you need to be going to.

Jason was a godsend! Very purpose driven in his service, incredibly empathetic and understanding. Over delivered in all areas of “customer service”. He went out of his way to ensure we were safe and well taken care of. Just a few examples- brought his own car as we had 5 people and only 2 could fit in the tow truck. He allowed us to use his personal car to get to the airport to rent a car. Called us with updates regarding our car as we continued on to our vacation (car broke down on the way). He did everything on our behalf. Took our car to his shop for diagnosis, towed it to the dealership and shared his findings with their service team so they knew what to do and kept us informed so we knew what to do when we returned from vacation. Jason’s accountability to his high standards allowed us to enjoy our vacation worry free! And our return was stress free because all we had to do is pick up the car. No hassles!! If ever in need of a tow or car service Jason is your guy! He’ll treat you like a friend and not a stranger!

My review is long winded but I can't express it otherwise. He was recommended by another tow driver as he was closer to my location (the recommendation in itself was a testament of another professional). We'd been sitting for several hours along the road side trying to find anyone who might be able to come look at an old diesel pickup that had suddenly lost throttle. I had spoken to mechanics from my home area who had given me multiple things to check and try, but all pointing to a bad engine computer. When we finally reached Jason he was taking care of several customers and situations while speaking to me over the phone. He asked me similar questions which I had already tried but during the course of our visit he felt certain I may have blown a fuse. I had looked close earlier in the dim morning hours with a flash light but my old eyes did not seen the very tiny blown fuse under the dash. I replaced the fuse with one I removed from another position and the truck roared to life! He came out with replacement fuses and opened up my steering column and showed me exactly what happened. The wires were bare and would have shorted again later in probably a less safer environment. I asked how much did I owe him? All he wanted was a good review. He saved me well over 2,000.00 as we had already reserved a truck to pull our trailer, a hotel room to stay another 2 nights with the idea to pull our trailer to central Florida and return with another truck the following day to pull our truck back and return the truck we used to pull the trailer, was going to hire him to tow our disabled truck to the hotel we were going to stay at, and I would miss a day of work Monday pulling our truck home, to pay a mechanic to replace a 25 cent fuse and tape up a little bit of bare wire. He was an answer to prayer! He was humble, kind, compassionate, and I hope he BLESSED beyond measure!

Jason(himself) was supposed to look at my car and fix an electrical issue. $1,500 and this is what I get back. $5300, now $6800 dollar car.
The first vehicle I bought when I moved here thinking I have one thing no one could take from me. You proved me wrong. That absolutely broke my heart. All because I just moved and I struggled with money to get it back but that is not an excuse to let something like this happen. No decent owner and I should know because I was one is Ohio. I should’ve never likened to your driver.
Another rare car bites the dust. Thank you for your slightly less than perfect work, boss. ??

What I thought was a bad starter turned out to be an issue with a faulty key fob. Jason explained everything in detail and saved me money. I’d recommend him to anyone as he will shoot it straight with you. Thanks Jason!

First off I’d just like to say I have much respect for Jason and everyone who works at his shop. I brought my truck up there to get the transmission rebuilt. But like anything everything doesn’t go right 100% of the time. On my way home a hose had blow out of the kit that was installed(this was not on Jason’s shop fault) it had a manufacturer defect that couldn’t been seen just by looking at the hose. But regardless of that he came out on a Saturday to replace the hose outside of business hours. I’d recommend Jason and his shop to anybody they did an amazing job. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved. 10/10

We were traveling for work and broke down on I65. They came right away and helped set us up with a rental car and hotel room. Being from out of town they were very friendly and quick. Car repairs were done ASAP, and very fair with prices. I wish everyone handled their business this way.... Thank you very much!

Posting this review for my brother in law Tim G. Jason went far above and beyond getting me back on the road. My transmission went out, had it towed to Jason's and he took care of all the rest. Breaking down stinks but glad it was near Jason's his service was impeccable.....Thank You!!!!

Jason’s Auto came to my rescue when I was broke down in Calera AL traveling from Florida to my nephew’s wedding in Nashville. On a Friday evening all the coolant leaked out and Jason towed me to his shop and fixed my car! Jason went the extra mile working well into dark on a Friday night to get me back on the road to make it to the wedding. I am very appreciative and thankful for the expertise, fair price and kindness of this business. I highly recommend him!?

My car broke down back in March of this year (2023). I had originally been told by one of Jason's tow truck drivers that Jason was the best around after diagnosis that the transmission needed to be rebuilt or replaced. I agreed to have it towed to Jason's Auto. I was given a loaner van after Jason said it would take some time to rebuild the transmission as he would have to order parts for it. After about a month of no contact from Jason, I started to inquire about the progress. Jason that each individual gear to be programmed in new transmissions and it would take a lot longer to fix. Jason also lent me a van that had no plate or tag. He told me that since he was a dealer, no plate or tag was needed. Eventually, I was pulled over by police that informed me that a plate was required, or I would get a ticket next time. After arguing with me that he knew the chief of police and that the officer who told me was lying, I called the Department of Transportation who backed up the officer. Jason did have a dealer plate and tag put on the vehicle after a good of complaining. Meanwhile, Jason continued to claim he was able fix my car, but it would just take a little. Finally, after the loaner van broke down, Jason admitted that he was unable to fix my car, this was after almost six months. I had it towed from his shop to Mr. Transmission in Pelham. I got a call from Mr. Transmission this morning. They have already fixed my transmission. They did in 3 days what Jason Auto could not do in 6 months. The only conclusions that I can come to regarding with dealings with Jason's Auto is that they are either frauds who have an ulterior motive for keeping people's vehicles so long or they are not competent enough call them "The Transmission Doctor". Yes, they will give you a loaner van but don't let them use that as an excuse for other poor service to you. They are not professionals. Jason will use a lot of sweet-talk when he is trying to convince you that he is working very hard on your car. But progress you will not see.
