One of the employees kept following my friends and I while giving us looks. He made a snide comment about if we are buying a tent or not. I guess groups of Latinos aren’t welcomed.

The only reason I'm rating this store with 2 stars is because of the super nice cashier that took care of us, other than that with the nasty attitude the "manager" that was there Daven, I believe is what the name tag said, had towards me, it should be NO STARS if that was an option here, he was super rude when I approached him to ask him to scan an item for me that had NO VISIBLE PRICE/TAG he literally rolled his eyes and made a nasty face to me like if he was so bothered I even talked to him.So, to be more clear, like I always say, customer service is NOT FOR EVERYONE! And for those that like to work in store departments, Restaurants, Banks and any other places where you know from the beginning you have to interact with other people/ customers you should know that your PERSONAL ISSUES NEED TO BE KEPT OUTSIDE YOUR WORK AREA.I'm starting to wonder if purchasing online might be from now on my go-to options since people these days seem to have no value for their jobs and definitely no respect for their customers!

Shelves were marked for U.S. Divers Redondo DX Mask and Padang Snorkel Combo at 19.99 when i went to check out price was otherwise i had a employee to follow me to the shelves and proceeded to tell me that customers misplaced the item to the wrong shelves when all his snorkels were marked at 19.99 i asked him to honor the price he declined.It it my opinion that it is bad business to blame customers for something that is more than likely a employee mistake and that's what makes me so upset I would of been more happy if he did not try to blame customers.

It’s an ok sporting goods store. They seem to concentrate on label sales of shirts and hats.They do sell some golf, baseball, softball, tennis, and football stuff. A little camping equipment, tents and sleeping bags. Bicycles, kayaks. All entry level stuff. No high end anything, golf, bikes, fishing, etc. bathroom clean. No firearms or ammunition.

It’s an ok sporting goods store. They seem to concentrate on label sales of shirts and hats.They do sell some golf, baseball, softball, tennis, and football stuff. A little camping equipment, tents and sleeping bags. Bicycles, kayaks. All entry level stuff. No high end anything, golf, bikes, fishing, etc. bathroom clean. No firearms or ammunition.

You guys have several phenomenal employees working in this location. I was having a rough day and Erica, the store manager turned what should’ve been an extremely unpleasant experience into one that will guarantee I drive out of my way over and over again to do business with you. Again and again. Erica diffused a situation with an upset customer (me), one that she truly did not have to, she chose to go out of her way to ensure she made my day a little brighter. I was a little embarrassed with the way I handled myself, considering the circumstances. You guys have an absolutely incredible team, led by one of the most kind hearted humans I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with, Erica. Working with the public isn’t always the greatest job to have, Erica taught me it’s okay to be the better person today. Today, she most definitely was. Please find a way to make sure Erica and her team sees this review. Your employees DESERVE to know that their efforts go further and mean more than they could ever imagine. Thank you! Trey, the guy that WAS having a pretty bad day.

I always enjoy shopping here. I came in on 10/29 and found the perfect sneaker ?. The associates were helpful and Erica at checkout is pleasant and knowledgeable! ?

Its close to where I live and the personal at the alabaster store are very helpful especially a gentleman who answered all my questions about a weight bench showing me how it would assemble so I am going back to that store and buy it from them instead of Amazon where I would have purchased it. Not by just price but because of that gentleman's customer service.

Customer service is great at this location. Erica at the front is always friendly and super helpful no matter how busy or hectic it is in the store. Highly recommend Alabaster Dick’s Sporting Goods!

I ordered a pair of Hokas online and when I received them they did not fit. I searched the online exchange policy and nowhere did I see that Hokas were non-returnable at the store. Put in my order number and got the barcode to take to the store. After driving 45 minutes and wasting gas, the girl told me they don't return Hokas because they don't carry them. There are a lot of things that stores don't carry except online and I have never had a problem returning them to exchange. This girl seemed annoyed to start with because I interrupted her morning. I base my first impressions of a store the first time I use them by the customer service and not the merchandise. This did not meet my expectations.
