“Great country store with very friendly staff. They have 100% gasoline for my boat. It’s basically a gas station, convenience store, grocery store and deli all in one! Very cool and convenient lake area shopping spot.”

“I stop here almost every single day. I've only seen two different people working, but they're always so kind to me. Gas prices are competitive. 30 cents cheaper than a gas station 5 miles down the road. Very well kept store. Nice little vegetable stand out front as well!”

“If you're not going to Evans Service Station you're spending to much money!! They have saved us thousands of dollars in repairs recently!! We got 2 new tires from them and it only cost of $405 for 22's. That was anywhere from 100-600 dollars cheaper than anyone from Cullman to Jasper. We bought spark plugs elsewhere and had them put them in as well... They charged less than 500 for the tires, mounting, balancing, and installation of the plugs.... AND they found a wire that was shot and replaced it with one they had in their other shop for no charge. Well we had the water pump go out in our other vehicle.... We supplied the parts, and asked them to do the spark plugs on this one as well... For them to do the water pump, thermostat, and spark plugs it only cost $100... Anytime my tires have been low on air over the years, I just pull up and they check them and fill them for free! I had a flat once and they stayed after closing time to wait for me to fix it. I feel so blessed to have such caring and considerate people work on our vehicles. They do a lot more with vehicles than you would think. So please don't hesitate to call and ask them if they can do work on your vehicle before driving to Jasper or Cullman!!!!!!!!”

“Nice folks. Malik is a very nice owner. Willing to help any way he can. The new breakfast cook is very sweet and polite. She knows how to make a biscuit, too! Mmm! My ONLY complaint would be that there are some mornings when I go in and there is only one person working the whole store. When it's busy and they're trying to check out customers at the register and there are two people waiting for food the wait can get a little lengthy. It's not the workers' fault, he/she is doing all they can. Maybe during breakfast times have 2 people there? But, I get it. It's a cost/overhead thing.”
