“This place really has everything. The owners are SO NICE- The salsas are amazing- I buy meat from them too- eggs- horchata - they have it all. Pozole on the weekends!!”
“If you want a place where you can feel at home and remember our beloved Brazil, stop looking. This store has everything like cassava flour and farofa, but it also has all the classic savory dishes like cheese bread, coxinhas and ground meat pastries. Love this cool restaurant! ??”
“I think I actually teared up eating JPGs. Having lived in Chicago my entire life, this was my first time ever eating here. There are no words to describe the flavor, attention to detail, and quality of food. If you are considering eating here, do yourself a favor and try it. There is no way you can be disappointed. You will understand what I’m talking about once you’re picking the fallen off scraps from the sandwich wrapper. Thank you for this taste bud blessing.”
8AM - 9PM
1528 E 55th St, Chicago“"Traedarious Jones" is my favorite store ✊?. Every staff member I encounter has a positive attitude and they are always ready to assist! Thank you all”
“The store is great except they keep rearranging product locations so it’s not always easy to find your favorites. Parking is limited as you would expect but it is made worse in the garage where employees often use 2 spaces for 1 vehicle because of the narrow lanes.”
“Kol Tuv is a hidden gem on Devon Ave in Chicago. It is a specialty grocery store that carries an eclectic variety of foods that cater to all different populations. They have all the items you would find in a typical grocery store plus gluten free, dairy free, kosher, gourmet etc. When you go, you must check out the selection of chocolates and candies. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is immaculate. This store makes grocery shopping fun and exciting! Hope you love it as much as we do!”
“Giant sandwiches, literally the best sub in the city. I got the sausage and the turkey and couldn't help but talk about how good they were for an hour. Going back for sure!”
“This is an amazing grocery store in the heart of Lincoln Square. They have a great selection of groceries, the second floor adds in a large wine liquor and beer selection, and finally the butcher can't be beat. From fresh cut lamb chops, to as many brat varieties as you can think of, to freshly made pasta salad, they have it all. A must visit if you are in the area!Parking: Limited amount of spots available in the front of the store.”
“Nice store with great variety of groceries: vegetables, fruits, seafood, cooked and uncooked. The prices are good. Cashiers and store staff members are friendly and helpful. What a gem place between the city and the suburbs! Really glad I found this place.”

4759 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago“Love this place. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, the shop is clean, the sandwiches are good. Great spot for those staple items you just ran out of or a pint of Jeni’s.”
“Absolutely love this place. I've been going since it was just grocery and the new layout and deli is just awesome. I love their bacon egg and cheese breakfast biscuit, and their vanilla latte is delicious. So glad they got an espresso machine. Can't say enough good about the place! 10/10”
“Great neighborhood market that is actually fun to shop at. I am always surprised by the unexpected items that can be found in this small store. For example: Publican and Aya breads, Elegant Farmer pies, Sputnik and Dark Matter coffee, Slagle meats, Carbone pasta sauce, organic fruits and vegetables and any number of locally sourced products. They even have propane tanks, firewood and ice. Occasionally I even receive a random 10% off.”
“For the most part, I've pretty much have only had good experiences at this Trader Joe's. The parking lot is not very big like typical TJ fashion, so if you are coming via a car during peak shopping hours, good luck to you. It's a close walk to the Brown line L station which may be convenient for some. Most of the employees I've encountered here are typically friendly and helpful as well. I would say that's always generally across the board for Trader Joe's though which is why I love returning. Prices have certainly gone up in the last few years with inflation and COVID, but I still find TJ's to have certain items that I can't live without and still (IMO) affordable when comparing to other general grocery stores such as Jewel Osco or Mariano's. I really wish they'd put a Trader Joe's in the Andersonville/Uptown area. It would flourish.”
“Whole Food gets your whole paycheck but I still buy my cheese, fresh meat and fish there while I buy branded TJ liquid detergent, coffee and all my frozen diners at TJ.”
“Great customer service, friendly staff, very clean, neat and organized. Offer vegetarian selections. Prices reasonable comparable to larger stores such as Aldi and Walmart for most items. Rewards program worth signing up for. Discount for Englewood residents so be sure to mention when checking out.”
“Is a small gem in the neighborhood, when short on time for cooking this is my place to go not the other chain restaurants but here. The store has a bit of everything, including polish products which I love the polish kétchup. Please know everyone is appreciated and don’t go anywhere!Thank you!”
“Carry great items. Great produce!! They make their own non-dairy shredded cheddar cheese which is less than half the price of name brands that are not as delicious and don't melt. The Morse Brand cheese MELTS and is delicious!!!”

“One of the best mexican restaurants around!!! Hands down the quesdadillas have to be the best I've ever eaten!!! Their tortillas are hand made and they are.. amazing! And then to top it off, the all of the employees are super nice and very attentive! Would definitely recommend!”
“The best family owned corner store in Roscoe Village. I don't do my grocery shopping here, but if I ever need milk, wine, or a pint of Ben & Jerry's I walk over. They also have a big selection of beer and seltzers. Takes credit and debit. Love the convenience. Love the family! They are such good people and are always there to look for a product or listen to you talk about your day. They even ordered more of a product knowing I kept coming in for it! Thank you, Damen Food & Liquor!”
“I am pleased that I was able to start helping others that are in need of good food with their subscription box. It was easy to sign up and hoping it puts smiles on others faces!”

1508 W 47th St, Chicago“I enjoy shopping at Aldi's but more checkout lines need to be open. Most of the time the lines are far too long and the lines reach to the middle of the aisles”
“Overall Thoughts: Carnicerias Guanajuato is a nice Mexican grocery store in the Wicker area with a little restaurant tucked in the back. It carries a solid range of Mexican staples, brands, snacks, and ingredients, and the staff are really kind and friendly. The restaurant is counter-serve with a well-sized seating area, and had a wide variety of meat options, from ox tongue tacos to beef jerky tortas to chorizo burritos. (However, the vegetarian options were a bit lacking in creativity / depth). By the time I went at ~6:30pm though, they were out of both ox tongue and beef jerky, so I’ll have to go earlier next time to try those. The prices are reasonable and affordable in both the restaurant and store, and you can use either cash or card.Food I tried:- Lomo Encebollado Torta (4/5): The torta bread was a little stale / not super fresh, but the meat was good and flavorful. Especially for the price (<$8), it was a very solid meal.—Price (relative to peers): 4.6/5Ambience: 4.4/5Service: 4.8/5Overall Value: 4.4/5”

2333 W Madison St, Chicago“Very broad range of items and easy to find different nationality's customary foods (typically per aisle) and the staff is very friendly and readily willing to help one find whatever they need in a quick, positive, painless manner. If you ask, the baggers may even bring your heavy items or bags to your vehicle for you (time permitting w/permission)! [Relevant for disabled or elderly shoppers]”
“I really enjoy shopping here. I find myself going very often will be going back today. Buying chicken wings Buffalo style. Also the pineapple upside down cake for dessert.”
