I have come here maybe 3 times over the past year and a half, and I ended up getting an amethyst ring made when I was there with a friend. It cost $344 and I was told I’d get it in 6 weeks from the day I bought it which was 5/20/23. It arrived on 6/28/23. So I have not yet had this ring a full year, and the shank has cracked 3 times, all since January. I am absolutely in love with the ring itself, don’t get me wrong, but the “Sterling Silver” band is so cheaply made that it’s not worth the 344 dollars I spent to get this ring. I have a $10 ring from Walmart that has lasted longer. I will not be returning to get jewelry here, not worth the $$$$

It's nice, lots of selection but for a local longtime rock/mineral collector it's overpriced, definitely targets the tourists. I have bought things from there, recently a petrified wood branch that I unfortunately chipped when I got home(cats) and I'm questioning it's authenticity, the inside is like plaster.

First time doing this kind of activity and it was a lot of fun. Staffs are very accommodating even when we arrived almost closing time. They still gave us information about the rocks we got and even offered us jewelry for the polished stone we got as well. Will definitely recommend this activity for everyone!

This is one of the most awesome shops in downtown dells, we didn’t get a chance to buy anything because we were pressed for time and they were very busy but I will be returning this summer to buy some crystals because some of the colors they have are mind blowing!!!

We have went here for years and they’ve always been okay for the price. Nothing spectacular but a nice shop and a fine but short lived experience. Every year they put less and less in the buckets. We used to be unable to close the plastic bag bc of all the cool rocks but now two buckets ($80) and the bag still closes easily. There’s supposedly a possibility for an amethyst in the red bucket but year after year we have somehow magically missed it. Daughter is 14 now so that was our last time. But the price is NOT worth what they give you especially since they’re just charging you to try and get you to set your stones. Btw this is the first year my daughter was offered a shovel to sift through the sand which is so sad.

Great time at Dells Mining. Got the kids the lowest cost (yellow) bucket of sand for about $19.25 woth tax to find their own gems. Staff was very attentive and was there for any questions and also for suggestions. Spent an hour or so in the store since one of our kids was taking her time with the mining activity.
