I no longer own my home. A bittersweet statement. The process, however, of selling my home was not bittersweet. Jay Schmidt and his group of highly effective and well-organized people made this move seamless. There was no rupture - no challenge - that wasn't explained and overcome immediately.
I do not want to move again - but if ever I have to, Jay will be the first person I call.

Katie Rinka was phenomenal! She is a great agent AND human…which was important to us. We gave her a very narrow search criteria as far as location and still, had an accepted offer and CLOSED within 3 months of meeting her for coffee. She knew what a competitive offer in our area of choice would take in this market and We are so relieved to have found our home! She provided us with a list of actually reliable contractors which was a godsend. And yes, she even held our little one during closing so we could focus on all of the logistics. We are so happy we chose her as our agent.

My fiancé and I were not even in the process of looking for our first home yet when we stumbled into one of Kristy’s open houses. She was so friendly, warm and attentive we knew we had to go with her and the JSG team when it became our turn to find a house. After several long months, multiple offers and Kristy spending hours touring, meeting with us and helping find the best area for us, we finally closed on our Cudahy home last month! We couldn’t thank Kristy and her team enough for all of the genuine support and passion when helping us find our first home. I would highly recommend Kristy and JSG to anyone looking for their home. I met Kristy at an open house and immediately liked her. I was there looking at a house for my son, Henry, who was planning a move back to the Milwaukee area from Washington. Talking to Kristy for five minutes, it was obvious that she knew her stuff as she took the time to explain the current, crazy real estate market to me. I also knew Kristy was the realtor Henry needed to work with and I asked her right there if she would work with him. Henry was 23 yeas old, two years out of college, and 2,000 miles away. Yeah right, he was going to buy a house. Yet, with the odds sounding low, Kristy contacted him and they started working together to find Henry a house in a tight timeframe so he could move directly into a house he owned and not have to rent.
With Henry in Washington, Kristy looked at numerous houses with Henry’s sister who lives in Milwaukee and also video taped houses that she toured upon his request and sent him the footage with knowledgeable, fair, and helpful commentary. There was a flurry of house tours and two failed offers, but alas, on Henry’s first day on his new job in Milwaukee, he asked to see a house in Whitefish Bay that miraculously lasted the weekend without an offer. The sellers were reluctant to allow the showing, but Kristy persisted and was able to show the house to Henry that night after work. Henry really liked it and wanted to make an offer. Kristy worked late and wrote up an offer that evening. Within five minutes, the sellers accepted! Henry closed on his first house on June 21.
Through this whole process, Kristy stayed in constant communication, answered all our questions, set up conference calls, strategized, always answered phone calls and texts, and worked around Henry’s demanding work hours. Kristy worked with us, Henry parents, as the “boots on the ground” intermediary contacts, which added another layer of complexity to the situation. Bottom line, Kristy proved to have a lot of integrity, worked very hard, was honest, and truly worked for Henry as a buyer’s agent. She is a very positive person that seems to thrive on the adrenaline of a hyper real estate market. If you are looking for a realtor with integrity, who is upbeat, communicative, very knowledgeable, with a positive attitude, hire Kristy Robbins.

We recently moved back to the Milwaukee area. We were targeting Whitefish Bay or Wauwatosa for our next home. We reached out to Jay, and he immediately set us searching for homes that met our criteria.
We have a crazy schedule with managing a new job, moving a long distance and having 2 kids under 6 at home. Jay and his team always worked around our schedule. They were responsive via email, text and phone calls at all hours.
The market is really hot, and they were able to get us into newly posted homes quickly, and we were able to compete on every home we were interested in.
