A huge thank you to the only shop in town that would help vacationers with a car issue. Everyone else said two weeks. Two weeks! We had all the engine lights coming on. We didn't even know if we could drive our truck. Melville's fit us in (for diagnosis and a look under the hood). Great people, great old fashioned service and atmosphere. Thank you for making room for people in an urgent situation. SO SO SO appreciated!
(He let us know it was drivable and what was the likely cause.)

Reminds me of my dads shop, takes care of the customer. They suggested a cheaper option than replacing my heater core and fixed my car heat, saved me several hundred dollars.

Steve does a great job. I always have a great experience when I get my car, truck, or tractor fixed there. They always fit me in even on a tight schedule. The best in Door County. I give them a 5 out of 5. They do great work.

Went here to have my brakes done and one caliper replaced. I had an appointment but they told me that it would be done the next day, this seemed a bit long but I was fine leaving it but when I called the next morning they said they were behind & wouldn't have it done, this happened twice. All in all it took them 3 days and some arguing to get it finished. Then after all that the car was jittery when I drove it & I had to take it back, got it back that evening finally running correctly but no reason for any of the delays or issues. The man was rude and pushy whenever i asked questions in an attempt to get some answers. Wouldn't go there again or recommend.

Great place. They are the only place around that has an old school dip tank for cleaning radiators. I take heat exchangers there all the time for cleaning and pressure testing. He also does auto and truck repair. I have never heard a bad word about this place
