I needed a new chain for a cross. Instead of just fixing the one I had, they recommended a different one which is much more durable They cleaned the cross right away and took care of me immediately. I love being able to go to a locally owned business who takes pride in their work.

I had my engagement ring of 40 years repaired and was told the ring also needed to be shanked. I am so glad that I had the work done at Jewelry Mechanic and took their advice to have the band shanked. The work was fantastic and it looks brand new, actually looks better and stronger. It should last another 40 years. They also resized my wedding band at the same time.. I trusted them with rings that are very sentimental to me and was not disappointed.

I am from the area-though now live out of town. I was in town and needed a watch battery changed. I went to my “go to” local jeweler and they were unable to change it that day. I stopped at the Jewelry Mechanic as I was racing to another appt (literally still chewing my on the go lunch) as I walked in. Mike changed the battery and had me out the door in probably 3 minutes. He adamantly refused to let me pay for it. This is why good small business need recognition and our support! Thank you so much for making me smile on a crazy day!

The workmanship is second to none and the final outcome is better than expected. Here are two pieces that he assisted in the design as well as the setting. Hers was done in three stages. My double strand pearl necklace from my wedding in 1953, had broken with a few pearls missing. They were able to creat a beautiful one strand necklace for me. My daughter in law was given it as a very special Christmas gift and the family memories will go on forever. Just beautiful.

15 years ago or so, Mike and I designed a ring from my mother's wedding and engagement ring diamonds and a loose and beautiful tanzanite stone. I've proudly worn the ring for a number of years but found with fingers swelling in the summer and shrinking in the winter, it was difficult to permanently resize it to fit all year around. I called and talked to Jo, who is an absolute stitch, who gave me suggestions and invited me in. Mike took the ring, cleaned it, checked the stones and put a little "bumpie" inside that keeps it on when fingers are normal size but allows my fingers to sausage and it still fits. While I waited and even better, no charge. The picture doesn't do the ring justice!I loved them then and I love them now. Thanks Mike and Jo

I took my ring in for repair. The estimate was $47.00. When I picked it up they charged me $96.60. The reason for the additional charge was for adding additional metal to the prongs. Someone should have called me before they did the repair! I wouldn't have had it done.
