I needed to pick up some pet supplies. I would much rather support a local business than a big box . They were very friendly and helpful. I found what I was looking for and was on my way in minutes.

Best pet supply! Food, toys and help with anything I have ever needed for our dog. Their help with food for my aging dog a couple of years ago gave her extra time with us. Our dog now enjoys Fromm and the variety of tastes they offer. ?❤️

Best pet store in the area. You will not find a more friendly, knowledgeable, caring and helpful staff. I drive 40 minutes one way to support this local family owned business. Update July-2022 - It's still the best pet store I've been too.

I love going to this store! The people are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We have purchased a few fish from there, and were looking for a specific type. They didn't have any, but she tried to order them for us.One of the things that really surprised me is how they keep their saleable betta fish. Many pet stores will have them living in a tiny cup, but this pet store had each in their own decently sized filterless bowl with gravel. We bought a juvenile betta fish after our Grandpa betta fish passed away. The betta we purchased was so content in his bowl there, that he was bubble nesting like crazy. I brought him home and crushed floating pellet food slightly so he could fit them in his trap. They took such great care of the tiny guy, that he continued in good health, and he has now grown into a beautiful adult in his private 5 gallon tank.The ferrets are not for sale, but they are fun to watch when they aren't cuddled up. When I was younger, I had ferrets, and all I can say is that their resident ferrets are so well cared for, and they have a huge area to play in. Ferrets can and do contract and spread Covid, so it's great that the store is keeping them and you safe. Don't take it personally that you can't play with them. It's in the best interest of the ferrets.Animal World Adventures also has a great selection of supplies for all types of pets, from food for domesticated and wild animals, to pet beds, toys, treats, enrichment items, gear, tank supplies, and even fun mystery grab bags! The store has always been clean and well organized, and if you need something that they don't have, they'll order it for you! Also- great prices on Wisconsin's own- Fromm foods! Shop local and prepare to be wowed by this pet store that's off the beaten track, but well worth it! Parking is never an issue! That's rare these days!They take Covid recommendations seriously, which makes me feel safer and an even bigger fan of theirs, so bring your mask and keep them, yourselves, and our communities safe, so this business will remain for years to come. From my understanding, this is a family run business and keeping their entire family safe is a big deal. Their Mother is always doing something in the store any time I've gone, and she is an absolute gem. When so few people tend to an entire store, we need to be sure that they are kept healthy so this store remains a superb local option for us.Bonus: They sell live crickets! Some other local stores sell boxed crickets, but my arachnid doesn't need 2 dozen crickets in one go. This place sells smaller quantities, so you don't need to feel guilty if you have to humanely euthanize (freeze) any excess crickets, or release them into the wild, which could disrupt hyperlocal ecosystems. Releasing any feeders is never a good idea, don't do it. Please only purchase feeders you need, and properly dispose of extras. I'm thankful AWA gives us smaller quantities.The only potential negative: there's a resident cat. If you're allergic like I am, definitely prepare to mask up or take your medication, as a cat hangs out by the registers and can not be avoided. The cat is normally chilling anyhow.In summary- Enjoy this local pet store! Great people! Good prices! A great store, with a good selection that's laid out well, not cramped, and clean! If they don't have it, they'll try to help you find it! You can even bring your furry friend in, if they're well behaved. We are lucky to have this store in our neck of the woods. :)
