Nothing but a great experience with PODS. I was nervous from the beginning… Read some not so great reviews and we were moving cross country so it felt like everything had to go right. Surprisingly, everything went perfectly!! We moved in Oct from Denver CO area to Milwaukee WI area. We used 2 PODS 16 ft each. My first contact with PODS was a little frustrating, since I could only be helped over the phone (no option to set it up online) and it was a veryyyy long phone call to go over everything, but also thought there was way too much info (especially the numbers $$) given by phone. I like seeing things in writing to make sure I’m understanding correct and can see the full total correctly. There was some miscommunication on the phone so I recommend clarifying everything. They took my payment and we set up specifics on the dates all on the 1 call. This can be done later but I knew the dates already so just got it taken care of then. Every POD drop off and pick up ended up going perfectly - they always came timely and notified me by email and phone beforehand. I couldn’t believe how smoothly it all went. The option to see things online after that initial call with set up was nice - I was able to confirm all the dates looked right and even made an edit to a pick up online. We read reviews about things getting shaken up quite a bit in the PODS and how the door can get jammed up, so we were careful to pack tightly and use moving tie down straps. Luckily nothing got broken - only minimal scrapes on a couple items.

One of the worst experiences I've had in any customer service company ever. Did not deliver my PODS on time. I ordered 2, they only delivered one. The other sat on the property until I was able to connect with someone locally to have it delivered. Prior to that, I was communicating with an offshore call service that could not help at all. Not a great experience. Make sure you are clear on you dates. Make sure you are clear on all the other charges. Clint out of Madison Wisconsin was the savior. I would give him a five star, but the overall organization was terrible.

PODS has developed a smooth running process. Everything went smoothly and as commmnicated. Only issue was scheduling of final pickup; we did have to call to get an earlier date. Otherwise everything else went very well.

Quotes were drastically different between online and over the phone. Was told charges would be made in 3 payments, drop off, pick up and re delivery, was charged all at once and then charged another fee after re delivery.
Recommendation for size was inaccurate. Should have went with a large container for a 1br apartment with attached garage, just under 1000 sq ft. Was disappointed with the container condition, seemed unkept and over used.

The agent was not clear whatsoever about later charges!!!! I paid almost $400 and then was told I’d be charged an additional $100 for transport and another for pick up! This was never discussed before hand and was completely unprofessional. When I addressed the matter the only resolution was a small $15 off. Completely unsatisfied !!!!

This is about pods and not this location specifically. Talked to a customer service about options and was informed there was only about a 50 dollar difference between getting a 16 - foot unit and 2 - 8 foot units. Incredible lie. It's costing me and additional 2500 (I knew I was paying the cost of 2 units but did not realize they charge more to ship 2 units because then WHY would this be a 50 dollar difference?) Customer service was unhelpful and said my complaint is not valid. I'm not dealing with this abroad because my stuff is packed away and I'm trying to deal with this without anyone local to assist me because I can not afford this at all. It makes no sense. They did a customwr investigation (or whatever they call it) and of course they found no fault with themselves or the miscommunication. Incredibly unhelpful and theyre just trying to save face. I would not recommend pods. Hiring a moving truck and movers actually would have cost me 3000 total for the move and I would not have had to move this myself. I feel very scammed. Save yourself the trouble. Hire a moving truck and skip the pod.

I would give 0 STARS if I could. Do not trust PODS. I have reached out to them several times to resolve the continuing issue - PODS CHARGED ME A MONTHLY RENTAL FEE AND THEN TOOK THE POD 3 DAYS LATER. THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ANY KIND OF REFUND FOR A RENTAL I HAVE NO ACCESS TO AND I HAVE PAID FOR THE FULL MONTH OF JULY 2024 AND HAVE NO ACCESS TO THE POD. I CALLED AND CHRISTOPHER THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE THAT TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE NO CHOICE BUT WOULD HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE IT DELIVERED BACK TO USE WHAT I HAVE PAID ON FULL FOR. THEY KNOW I DONT HAVE THE POD BUT WILL NOT RETURN ANY OF THE $370 CHARGE. THIS IS NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY - YOU WILL NEED A LAWYER IF YOU USE THEM, THEY STEAL MONEY

Terrible experience. Could not door open on the weekend I had scheduled people to help move boxes into container. It took three days to get someone out to fix it.Terrible customer service. Hard to figure out who to call. All she did was give me a' claimnumber' and nothing else. No compensation at all.Deceptive quoting. You get a number but no one tells you there are separate fees for pick-up and delivery-over $200!!NEVER, EVER again!Biggest rip- off ever.
