Can't recommend this hotel enough. I actually just came back from my trip. My family of 3 stayed there a couple nights ago. First of all the hotel is beautiful: exterior and interior. Our room (we stayed in the king + pull out sofa) has high ceiling and the herring bone wooden floor. The location is the icing on the cupcake. I wished I could have stayed longer in this hotel and Milwaukee. The only complaint we has was the pull out bed was super uncomfortable. You could almost see /feel the spring through the sheets. Other than that I definately recommend this hotel.

I travel to this hotel often for work. Every time I visit it is consistent a great experience. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is always friendly. I definitely plan on staying here when I need to go to Milwaukee. There’s many restaurants within walking distance.

Our room was definitely not a suite. It was a large room. There were 4 of us snd not enough room. See pic of when we folded out the couch. There wasn't enough room to walk between the bed and the couch. Staff was not friendly and we are Diamond Members. Breakfast was just ok but only 1 person working and they struggled to keep up on a Sunday Morning. No parking associated with the Hotel. They offered $25 parking thru another lot but I self parked across the street for cheaper.

The building is beautiful and they do a nice job of telling it's history throughout the hotel. Rooms were spacious and nice and the continental breakfast was better than most I've had. The only bad experience was that all the bottles of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in my shower we empty. I notified the front desk the first morning, and it was not corrected, so the two mornings I spent there I had to shower with only the bar of hand soap. Not great, but also wouldn't stop me from going back.

I love it here! Everything I need to cook my own dinner, a great complimentary breakfast every morning, a variety of restaurants and bars half a block away., hot tub in the building and some of the nicest staff in any hotel I've stayed in.

Came here for a wedding last August and had some issues. The room itself was spacious and nice but the floor was very sticky and the toilet had not been cleaned completely. We booked through the capital one travel portal which ended up being a huge headache. We booked our room for two nights and checked in and everything seemed fine. Then the next morning housekeeping showed up and just walked in thinking we had checked out. We said no we have another night and she said okay and seemed confused. Then we get a call from the front desk saying we only had one night reserved. We asked if it would be helpful to come down and show her our confirmation from capital one saying that we reserved and paid for two nights, she said yes. We went down and the front desk person was extremely rude basically acting like this whole problem was our fault. It didn’t really seem like the problem was sorted out but we were able to stay in our room and assumed that the hotel was going to figure out the problem with capital one. We checked out the next day and they didn’t say anything more about the issue with the reservation. Then we got a charge for another night stay so we called and were told that they only got partial payment from capital one and when they tried contacting capital one they told the hotel to “just figure it out” so they charged us. The hotel told us not to book through capital one because this happens all the time. We then had to call capital one and get them to talk to the hotel and figure it all out. It ended up getting resolved and we didn’t have to pay. Obviously capital one was a big player in this but the hotel should’ve handled it much better and at the very least shouldn’t have made us feel like it was our fault and should’ve mentioned when we were checking out that they would be charging us.

We had an amazing experience at the Homewood! Our room was 613, with lofted ceilings and a stunning view overlooking the city, lake, and river. Gorgeous. We did not hear the interstate much at all and felt the whole room was clean and spacious. The workers at the front desk could not have been more helpful. Every day we were gifted water and goodie bags. They answered all of our questions. The hot tub was such an added bonus and we enjoyed it nightly. Our experience was lovely and we’d highly recommend staying again. It was a great location that felt safe and close to many things.Side note: many people say the parking is complicated. It was tricky the first time and then after that, a complete breeze. The hardest part is finding it but once you do, it is easy to come and go as you please.Safety: Very safe!Noteworthy details: Great hot tub!

We stayed in July, we walked to the fireworks by the lake beautiful! So many venues amd restaurants to walk to and shopping of course. The hotel is very historic on the outside the red brick is outstanding.Then you enter the hotel and everything is updated and modernized very sophisticated. We loved the views from our room overlooking downtown. Room was well stocked with Everthing you could Think of! Will stay here againRooms: Very spaciousWalkability: Very easy.walking to all the venues we visited

I stayed here on Wednesday , the young lady cyrena was very nice at the desk and she answered any questions we asked. great for the front counter position, needs a raise haha .
