This was my first time coming to Dr Rana and he was great! After an ER visit elsewhere and calling around to other places, Bayshore Clinic offered great service over the phone, showed empathy towards me and my dog situation. They were able to get me in next day- Dr Rana and staff showed concern, asked questions and was able to to fix the problem my dog was dealing with. They also were very transparent about pricing. Dr Rana even checked on us the next day to follow up on how my dog was doing. I will definitely be using them as my primary vet. Thank you so much Dr Rana!

I took my cat in for an injured paw. She was given a shot for pain that was actually a new arthritic medication called solensia my cat didn't have arthritis she was incredibly healthy. This shot killed her within a day and a half. After her first seizure from the shot I took her to shorewood animal hospital where they told me her symptoms were identical to rat poison symptoms. She was bleeding internally. She needed to be on life support while the poison would have a chance to leave her system I couldn't afford it. I took her home and she had 6 seizures before she died in my arms as I was rushing her to the emergency room later that evening. Her Dr at Shorewood animal hospital said she would not have given her this shot at all and that the pain medication I was given to give to her was also not necessary it was too strong. Taking my cat to Bayshore veterinary clinic killed her. I do not recommend this vet. He did call the drug company and they offered only up to $1000 they ended up paying for the shot and then the Shorewood animal hospital bill we were reimbursed less than $600. They should have paid for her life support. My biggest mistake was taking her to Bayshore vet on Oakland avenue she died a very painful death that was totally unnecessary she was injured from bumping her leg on the table running from her sister. That's what I initially brought her in to the office for. She had no other health issues prior to this visit. This shot is dangerous. My cat was healthy I took her in to see if the doctor could see if her leg was broken at the time I took her in I didn't have enough money for an x ray. It was definitely the shot that killed her. It was confirmed by the second doctor I took her too.

Dr Rana has been the most caring and empathetic vet we've worked with. We've had a lot of life changes and a lot of pet emergencies, but he's always been there to work with us to figure out the best possible care for our pets. We've always felt like he remembers exactly what our dogs have gone through and meets them on their level.
He's the only vet we've trusted with our reactive dog, to the point where we made a trip back to Milwaukee after leaving it to have her seen by him. He's dealt with our other dog going through being attacked by another dog and (separately) having to go through a year+ long process of knee surgery and then amputation. Throughout all of these experiences, we've always felt like we could ask as many questions as we needed to for our peace of mind and he always took the time to make sure we felt comfortable and satisfied with our knowledge of the options we had.
We've had an amazing 6+ years of experience here and one of the worst parts of leaving Milwaukee has been losing access to a trusted and loving veterinary care team here at Bayshore. Thanks to everyone there!

I cannot praise Bayshore Veterinarian and Dr. Rana enough! They were there for me when my cat broke his paw and when he fell ill. Their promptness in scheduling appointments, even on short notice, is remarkable, and their pricing is fair. What truly sets them apart is Dr. Rana's exceptional care and genuine concern for animals. When my cat fell ill over a weekend, despite the clinic being closed, Dr. Rana went above and beyond, reaching out via email to check on my cat's condition. I deeply appreciate how Dr. Rana took the time to explore various treatment options for my cat's illness, rather than immediately suggesting surgery. It's evident that he prioritizes the well-being of his patients above all else

I recently visited Dr. Rana Bayshore Vet Clinic with my dog, Ted, and I must say, the experience was truly exceptional. Dr. Rana possesses not only extensive expertise in veterinary medicine but also a remarkable ability to connect with his animal patients. He was incredibly gentle and patient.
What I appreciated the most was how Dr. Rana emphasized preventative care, offering practical advice on how to maintain Ted's health at home.

The customer service of the front desk staff is why I’m giving 3 stars! The front desk service is basic at best but the vet and techs are amazing.

I am so grateful for Bayshore Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Rana is beyond patient, thoughtful, and compassionate towards our anxious senior dog. He has helped us with everything from routine appointments to more serious health concerns. The entire staff is always very friendly and helpful. I would recommend their services to anyone in the greater Milwaukee area!

I brought my kitten here for 6 months and he was suppose to be neutered and they sedated him and then found out only one of his balls dropped. I feel like they should have confirmed they dropped before the appointment and checked before giving him drugs to sedate him that I had to pay for. Their communication within is not the best because I got a follow up call the next day asking how his neutering went which I had to tell them never happened. We then scheduled a surgery for him and two days before the surgery I called them because I had a few questions and they asked me if I got an email (until this day never received) that they are unable to do his surgery. That rubbed me the wrong way that this appointment was scheduled WEEKS out and they could have had the decency to call me so I would have been able to find and set up a new surgery by then with someone who could have done it. In addition, they referred me to their sister clinic in Butler that I have called several times and didn’t return my call so I had to find one on my own. In addition they take your pets out of the room when they give vaccines which just makes me uncomfortable because I would like to see what is happening and where they are giving the vaccine. All of my cat owner friends say that they get to see their cats received a vaccine. Overall, just not personally the best experience for us.
