This hotel is not worth the $20-30 I saved by booking here. You can tell immediately that the ownership is putting away as much money as possible and not investing anything on the actual rooms. I was woken up at 4am with very loud guests. This persisted for 45 minutes. I finally tried calling the front desk and found that my room phone was not operational. I then called the front desk using my cell phone and was met with a rude response. Owner: Keep saving that money, but don’t expect to receive any from people who are seeking a quality stay. Also, your guests may prefer to lock their bathroom doors, but your rooms are in such poor order that likely many of them cannot (see my photo). Shameful.

BED BUGS!!! RUDE FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES!! (lengthy but please read) we came out for one night and immediately noticed the hotel is not the same as advertised. the pictures online look completely different from the actual hotel. right away it seemed dirty and not well kept. our room seemed as though it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. with stains on the walls, floors and ceiling and even the towels. when we woke up in the morning there was a bed bug on the bed and we went to go tell the front desk where he confirmed it was a bed bug and by the look on his face i assume this is not the first time this has happened. he told us the manager would be in soon and would reach out to us. he has not reached out since this incident. the following morning i woke up with numerous bed bug bites all over my arms hands and chest. we reached back out to the hotel to get compensation because now we may have brought these home, and he told us that there was never a bed bug and we were lying. then proceeded to hang up and tell us the manager will not be calling us. i found this disgustingly unprofessional that they are able to cause harm to someone and not try to make it right, but instead tell us we are wrong. please for your own safety NEVER EVER stay at this hotel. if i could give it no stars i would.

BED BUGSS!!!! Dirty sheets, floors, and towels. The building is falsely advertised, do not believe the pictures on Google Maps. The interior has to be a completely different building. Just compare my pictures of the ACTUAL lobby to the lobby in Googles pictures. Ohh, and the picture of the BED BUG.

Very strategic location. Washington Road is not far from here which is essentially the "Broadway" of Madison, Wisconsin. There is coffee in the lobby and an affordable ice cream freezer with tons of variety. The ice cream is only $2.00. Very strong front desk team here who knows the hotel industry very well. If you can find a good price, you should consider this hotel.
Rooms: More or less "what you need".
Nearby activities: Perkins, other Hotels, the Mall, and More.
Walkability: Extremely.
Food and drinks: Just use Google Maps.

I got this hotel through my job normally we don't stay in hotels like this from our job the only reason rent this hotel is because of the DNC in Chicago the first room that they gave me was dirty the second room they gave me was okay but not exceptional. There was hair in my shower so I had to clean my own shower and bathtub. There's a soft spot right in front of my TV and the foot of my bed. Other parties that I have with me have found spoons in their window seal with burnt heroin on them. As well as dirty blankets and sheets that they say are clean. Other than the location of this hotel being close to restaurants in the mall and everything I would give this restaurant a two-star. There is no free breakfast the parking lot is atrocious you have to park on a hill. I go outside and all I smell is people smoking marijuana my phone kept ringing when I answered and nobody was there so I just unplugged it from the wall because it was starting to creep me out. And the guy at the front desk told me that a year ago you would have wanted you to come here because of all the drug activity in the parking lot. I don't see how anything has changed everything seems the same as it was a year ago every time I stayed in a rodeway Inn has always been horrible. My boss who stays with me or I should say my supervisor who did not book The room by the way said that when she opened up refrigerator it was nothing but mold inside of it
The Wi-Fi here completely sucks
Nearby activities: There's gas stations restaurant shopping centers most things you can walk to in most things are within a mile or so away that you can drive by car or a walk if you want to
Safety: I would say the safety of this location it's not very well as there's a lot of drug activity here as one of my co-workers found a spoon with heroin burnt on it in the window seal
Walkability: You're able to walk the most places here as far as restaurants and shopping centers

Pretty awful hotel but I didn't expect much for $80/night. Staff was friendly and nice, common areas were mostly clean but room was dirty. Dead bugs, bits of glass from drug pipe, etc was all over floor. Moldy shower, filthy toilet seat and what looked like poop smeared on wall. Bulbs missing from 2 lamps and interior door handle kept falling off. However, bed was clean and comfortable, AC/TV/fridge all worked. Overall I should've saved some money and just slept in my car.

Made a reservation through a 3rd party website Global Reservation. Accidentally booked the wrong date by one day! Nobody could change the reservation! What a blatant rip off! Besides the bad reviews for cleanliness they take your money claiming they can't change anything. You would think it's a simple matter. They just refuse to help you because they can just take your money without satisfaction! Do not rent from this place!
Noteworthy details: Will not change a simple reservation! Just an excuse to take your money.
