Do not bother with this company. I was a long time client of the previous owner. R.I.P I called last week to get a appointment I was told they are not taking any new clients. The lady on the phone was polite. NOT TAKING NEW CLIENTS !

I met with the VP of DMA Accounting regarding my personal income taxes. He asked for me to leave my paperwork with him, he was going to look into a question I had - AND I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN!! I had to make another trip there to get my paperwork back. He had it waiting at the front desk with not even so much as an apology. He did nothing but waste my time. I'd suggest going elsewhere.

We had been going to Dale for 5 year. He was doing our taxes and we owned a company so our payroll too. Melanie did a great job! She was always polite and in great communication. Dale on the other hand was rude and dismissive with any question that I had. We paid an excessive amount in taxes year after year, and when I questioned him why he didn't write off certain items. He said I don't know or because you made too much! Stay away from Dale Miller!

We met with Blaine, who was very professional and friendly. All of our tax related questions were answered and we even learned something about a Roth Conversion that our financial advisor did not share.

We have been going to Blair at DMA for several years. We enjoy talking with him and he does a great job. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful as well. To have your taxes done the right way at a reasonable price, we highly recommend DMA on Monona Drive!

If you’re looking to get your taxes done, skip this business and try someone else. Laurel Tjugum is one of their employees and she’s extremely rude. It takes her forever to follow up and then when you ask her about an email you had sent days or weeks ago, she responds as if she had never seen it. I finally got everything settled with them and paid for my returns. When I asked for a total sum that I owed or would be returned, she told me that “she’s in the middle of the busy season, I should have asked her earlier and now she does not have time to look into it for me.” I’m sorry what? You don’t have time to add 5 numbers together and give me a total? After I just paid you $530? So unprofessional and so disappointing.

Been doing my business taxes at DMA for many years and this year they sent me the 30 page packet to itemize and after I filled it out and called to get in... They decided they didn't want us as clients anymore with little to no reason other than they are busy... What a very poor approach... Bad business... I will tell everyone I know to stay far away from DMA

I've been getting my tax returns done by Dale at DMA for many years. He is excellent and so is the front desk staff. I call weeks ahead to make an appointment because I know he will be busy during tax season (because he is just that good) and I want no one but him to do my taxes. He is always on time, friendly and efficient. He takes the time to answer all my questions and at the end of our appointment I know exactly what I owe or what I'm getting back and what my estimates are etc. It is all done during this one appointment. I will not go anywhere else.

If I could rate it a zero I would!! I will Never step foot in DMA Tax & Accounting again, nor recommend them to anyone!! They were recommended to me by a friend, so I stopped in at the end of January of this year. I stated I was inquiring of services and prices, I have a business and various investments. The "Receptionist" could not answer even simple questions, all she stated was I needed to make an appointment and no guarantee it would be with the preparer I requested. I requested to see Dale Miller he has done my friends taxes for 5-6 years, and was told he would make the determination of whether or not he has time for me this tax season. Really?!! I did get to meet Dale and I asked if I could ask a few quick questions? His reply was rude and dismissive, he did not have time for this today. He walked away into his office and told me to make an appointment, and loudly shut the door. At which point I walked out! DO NOT waste your time or money here!!

When my accountant of 15 years retired he transferred his clients to a large accounting firm based in Appleton. I had only met the new person assigned to my account once, and he wasn't really invested in my business success. I stayed with that firm only 1 year before I switched to DMA 3 years ago. I always find everyone at DMA friendly and professional. I've never waited more than a day for a callback on a question. Sometimes it's been complicated and they've had to spend extra time researching to make sure everything is accurate.
At the previous firm, I was just a number, and not surprisingly, they didn't take the time to get to know me or my business, or proof my return, making mistakes Dale Miller of DMA caught and corrected. My taxes are done at lightning speed - I wonder if they sleep or eat at tax time. I'm very grateful to have found them.
