Weird experience. Their website won't let me book a room, and when I call the number, I get dead air.
After my 4th phone call, I got a creepy Google Voice guy who didn't mention the hotel at all and just said "Unfortunately, the person you're trying to reach cannot take your call."
Maybe they're closed permanently? Or for the season? It doesn't say that on their site.
Not sure if the rooms are any good. Never was able to book one.

Gary was the best host. We had the room with no AC so make sure you bring your own fans. It was cold at night so it made up for it. Incredible locations, 7 min walk to the Main Street of LG. Worth every

Had a wonderful stay. Not a fancy place, but full of charm. Can't wait to go back. The location is excellent!! We enjoyed hanging out on the dock.

We stayed early June for a couple of nights and Lake Geneva was very tolerable (less traffic, people, noise, etc..) and lucked out with finding Eleven Gables (we have a small dog, and it was one of the very few places to allow a dog - (room "The Courtyard"). Very quaint, quiet, clean, and rich in charm - it's not perfect, but we were not looking for perfection. Nice outdoor access, patio, and room size (great bed!). It was nice to be able to just walk out, go for a long walk (access to lakefront access, respect the rules), access to the private pier (nice clean water), and easy access to downtown (Flat Iron, Oakfire, Popeyes our selections - nailed it on food choices - due to dog friendly) - slight wait but not unbearable. Gary the owner/mgr was friendly, wonderful, and very informative (learned about Lake Geneva, history). We had brought our own water, milk/oakmilk, munchies and drinks) and having fridge and microwave was nice. Will stay again, but book in advance, this place goes fast (we booked 2 months prior). A gem! PS having free parking included was big benefit - everyone's figured out free street parking is better than new $20 for max 5 hrs paid parking! Add that to the list..

We try to stay at Eleven Gables at least once a year with our family and dog! It's a wonderful place with an amazing pier and views of the lake. It also is a great location right near downtown within walking distance to everything. Our dog has so much fun and the owner is very accommodating of her. The owner is also really generous in sharing his tips about Lake Geneva.Loved the room, location, pier, and lake! Overall, it's family and dog friendly and had a nice lake house vibe!

Very nice host, clean and comfortable. Great OLED TV, gas fireplace and the lake path is across the street. Dog friendly too! It's a nice rustic 1800s inn, but we stayed at "the cottage" which is a separate house in the back. It's perfect cozy cottage with nice bathro and shower, microwave and small fridge, a hidden gem. Since it was cold out we spent a good bit of our 4 days inside the cottage,, and it was so cozy and comfortable with gas fireplace. Netflix is included on both TV, perfect retreat that is walking distance to everything in downtown Lake Geneva!

Walkability: 15 minute walk to downtown on a really nice quiet street. Awesome location.

We picked this place bcz they are one of the few places that allowed dogs (not all rooms).The place is very close to downtown so we don't have to worry about parking and are able to walk there easily. The room is cozy. Gary greeted us at the door and he is so nice!I love the plant inside, but the dog thinks the statue is staring at him, and he does not like it ?

Friendly proprietor however…You are paying for the location. A complete update really is necessary, for the cottage at least. The mattresses and pillows are abysmal. I did not get a wink of sleep. Cleanliness- there were long black hairs on the sheets, the mug had what looked like lipstick marks, and I was definitely reluctant to let my dogs lie on the throw rug. The fire alarm started going off at 7:20am. Needless to say, I checked out a day early. But the location is excellent.

We lived in the cottage and it's very beautiful and clean. It's location is great, pretty close to the Lake Geneva, especially to the Kayak/boat rental. The host, Gary, is very friendly and kind. My car broke after we just arrived. He helped us a lot to overcome this difficulty and made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this to our friends and plan to visit in the future again!

Nice location only, I think the Lake Geneva business bureau should take down their photos as it does not reflect the current condition of the place, which was dismal.
